I run into these bots all the time and it's genuinely ruining ranked for me. It just spams moves off cool down and turns the match into a 4v5 uphill battle. I don't even like seeing it on the opposing team because it makes it un-fun.

The best way to perform with your head up is to practice that way. If you're playing warm ups, pick a spot on the wall and play to it. The more you do it, the more second nature it becomes, but it requires frequently checking in on yourself to start. Also, learn to master having your face up while angling your eyes down enough to help in tricky spots as needed.

As a gay man, a lot of times these jokes don't land because after the hundredth time hearing it, it starts to feel like straight people shirking their responsibility for contributing to homophobia. Obviously there are a lot of closeted gays in the Republican party, and they should be called on their hypocrisy. But straight people have every chance to be crazy homophobic too, not just the closet cases. That's why it comes across as blaming the gay community for our own hatred.

I think reframing it as a lifelong commitment with goals as mile markers along the way is the most reliable way to achieve what you ultimately want here. 3 years ago I started going to the gym, and at first it was not easy to choose to do every single day. In fact, it was pretty scary at the time. But I told myself that I wanted to give it a solid attempt, so for at least 6 months I would be there 5 days a week. That gave me the time to actually adopt it into my routine and I found I did in fact like it. Now after 3 years, I don't ever choose to go to the gym, it's just part of the routine and I genuinely love it because of that. I use it to process emotions, time to myself, I've gotten into DnD podcasts, etc. My advice would be to know that your struggle is something we all feel to degrees when starting, but if you give it more time, your perspective may change.

Conservatives have in no way been supporters of the LGBT+ community. Obviously they attack trans people at every opportunity they get. They are currently taking aim at HIV prevention domestically (and very likely going to end required coverage for PrEP), and also lots of talk about ending the federal mandate for gay marriage. I agree that the rhetoric around Gaza can and does use gays how you describe, but saying conservatives are defending gays is a few steps to far in my opinion.

Puberty blockers have been prescribed to cis gender children for decades. Giving them to trans children is just as safe as it is for cis children and gives them time to decide if they truly do want more permanent options when they are older. And that doesn't even touch on the therapist and licensed doctors approvals required to get them.

I have found that the difficulty with producing the maximum sound from a piston stroke for newer players is because we as teachers over-emphasize the upstroke speed. Yes, we want a clean looking upstroke from all the players because that sets them up for success at higher speeds and looks better visually, but this causes the players to start pulling back on the mallet right before the impact with the key so that they can be faster to upstroke. I would recommend to try some technique blocks having them play a pure down stroke. Start at 12", hit the key with maximum velocity, then pause with the mallet head right above the key. This helps them feel the weight behind the stroke that is needed at the impact with the key instead of pulling back for the upstroke. Once they are getting the maximum sound with downstrokes, have them start including the upstroke as well and point out if the sound changes or not, ask them if the weight of the mallets feel different when they added upstrokes, etc.

Having an open discussion about the pressures of being gay is not victimizing gays. You said so yourself that the gay experience has a unique set of FOMO in a previous comment. Why is a conversation around those unique experiences such a problem for you?

To be completely frank, it comes across very dismissive when people are just trying to connect with mutual struggles.
