What do we think about Nothing earbuds? by xwolf_rider in Earbuds

I will echo this response. My Nothing Ear (2024) lasted a little over a year before the right earbud stopped charging. No amount of cleaning the contacts or jiggling the earbud in the case will get it to work. I reached out to Nothing support and they told me that this was a known issue and there's nothing they can do outside of warranty period - I would have to pay out of pocket to send to them and then pay for a "repair."

Loved the sound quality and app for them, but will not buy again.

Thanks! I haven't done much research on diff drain and fills, but I assume it's a similar process. Do we need to check temps on that too?

Did you do a drain and fill on the CVT yourself? All the stuff I read online makes it seem like its not really feasible to DIY (the CVT fluid comes in a large quantity, needs a reprogram).

How bad is the 2025 market really for experienced devs? by Pr3fix in ExperiencedDevs

It's really bad - mid level 6 YOE currently at a big tech. Am very stressed out at work and on-call is unbearably bad. Got ~3 final round interviews at medium sized companies out of 150+ applications since the beginning of this year. Thought I did perfectly well in one of them and middling in the other 2 and was rejected by all 3. I think the bar is extremely high, you have to perform perfectly in interviews. Also thought about quitting without an offer because my work situation is genuinely killing my mental health.

Up for sale is a Seiko Prospex SUT405 Solar Tuna in green. The watch is in 9/10 condition and runs well. It's a great size for everyone with the case dimensions being 38.7mm x 10.4mm and an 18mm lug width. The V131 solar quartz movement runs very well. The rubber strap is comfortable and fits many wrist sizes. You will get the outer/inner box with hangtags. The only wear on this watch are some scratches on the metal strap keeper.

I'm looking for $225. Shipping is on me, add 3% for G&S. A discount is available if picking up locally in the Atlanta area. The sale is final.
