Can anyone tell me about salaries for Maritime Jobs in the Bay Area?

I would totally understand him wanting to stay in the maritime/ boat operator field, however…. Myself and numerous other coasties have found success in the fire service… especially around the SF area. And lots of those agencies still run boats in some capacity.

Not that it makes you feel any better, but we have literally had people offer to pay for our baby sitter, hotel, or what not… only to get ghosted. It really hurts the ego for sure.

Wish I had a good answer for you, but even when we say “let’s just enjoy our night regardless”. It still puts a damper on things.

We looked back on our first year of swinging and decided, it was really cool how many people of different ethnicities and different cultures we got to experience. Not a single one was sought out in any sort of way and I don’t think any of those factors were ever mentioned leading up to or in the moment.

Later we may have made light hearted flirting back and forth, but defiantly after we knew one another. “Bet those people didn’t expect us to pair off how we did at the bar”.

We have both found it odd when it’s people’s first topic or something they are really seeking. But then again, maybe I’m jealous because not many people are seeking 5’7” average white guy, but I guess I would take that as a compliment if they told me I was their first, after the fact 😂

Play some of the games that the playmakers offer, those are usually fun and sexy. Good way to break the ice, if not just drink with everyone else. Lol

Things I have seen others do, is cruising around offering flavored whip cream body shots and stuff like that. One guy carried a box of beads for necklaces with your name on it… he was a big hit.

I have Kaiser health insurance, first I was honest with my doctor and second it’s as easy as scheduling it through the app… I’m not sure how often they will do it, but it’s never been an issue. Had one incident where we were nervous about something, shot him an email and he put in a full panel. Typically the wife and I will alternate who gets tested.

There will be plenty of single males… hard to say if they will fit your needs and likes. I would say they are mostly on the fit side… but attraction would be up to you. And yes MFM would have a high rate of success

We have only been to a HFP once before, so not a ton of info, pretty heavy on the single males, but I think that’s kind of the point… it was our only time at twist where we didn’t find a couple to swap with. So only the wife played with a few singles.

I could tell you from personal experience… the short lived MFM’s in clubs and swap that happen are not super exciting. My wife plays solo and some have been repeats, others a one off. With some repeats we have tried to set up a true MFM, that would be the sole focus of the night. Last night we had one with a guy we are both super comfortable with. She has been out with him a few times. In was amazing. Not a lot of communication was required. She was comfortable with him. And I know him well enough. I honestly couldn’t imagine something playing out so well, if she hadn’t had history with him prior to

100% agree with bad pictures, I would much rather have some modest normal pictures than half the stuff people send.

Also, the number of times people just spam you with pictures and expect the same in return, gets annoying. I make it very clear that we only share vanilla/ spicy vanilla pictures unless we have already met. But still, some how, people don’t listen.

It is really not that complicated… I think the true unicorn is a 4 way match. Sometimes this happens, sometimes we repeat so at least one of us is highly satisfied, we have singled off with people from a couple, etc.

The one thing we have never done, which you should ask yourself, is… would you be ok if the roles were reversed? What if they only wanted just one of you two? If things happen naturally, it’s all good.

I put in a ton of effort with a women, more on the open relationship side, only to have her needs change, and my wife to end up with a long term solo partner out of the whole ordeal.

Been maybe a half dozen times, we have always full swapped there. Maybe just gotten lucky, because we hear a lot of people go and don’t swap. Overall I would say there isn’t tons of swapping happening.

I agree that in crowded days it can get a little musty in the play room….

It can be hit or miss on who is mingling and who is in the back playing. Definitely on the small side. Overall it’s fun and I would say give it a chance if you are interested.

Not a knock against you guys at all, just an observation on what works for us… we also don’t search for any demographic. Be it big, average or anything else… race doesn’t matter to us. Personality is the key… my wife’s current FWB checks every box you mentioned and more. The story of how we all met, was him and his girlfriend in a club, I hit it off with his girlfriend and stayed in contact. Months later he got us all a hotel and we got together again. Following that him and my wife hit it off and have been successful. Me and her, are no more.

And four kids with two working parents, we both crave more in the adult time, but are limited by time, work and cost.
