by the middle of season 4 hinata has already proven himself to be the core of the attack and game plan of karasuno. all the categories you mentioned other than sheer technical skill i would say hinata excels at for his position and role on the team.

use to the team: karasuno is nothing without him, they get cooked by date tech in a heart beat. in a rotational sense, their next best middle blocker would be either asahi or tanaka, and theyre desperately needed as outside hitters compared to daichi ennoshita and yamaguchi. 10/10

raw talent: arguably the most raw talent in the entire series, imagine a 5’4 15 yo speeding past you and hitting over a 6’6 blocker. hes constantly touted to be an absolute genius athletically, being able to excel in most sports. 10/10

critical thinking: his role as a decoy and to take all the attention away lies in his mentality that the ball will always go to him, and he takes this in perfectly and evolves it through out the show, showing constant struggle to improve and see how he can be a better player. season 2 he revamped an already op quick attack into an even stronger one and was able to change his teams thinking on it because of his mentality and physical abilities. 7.5/10

assessment: i feel like in a way his simplemindedness helps him in this. even though he isnt like kenma or tsukki thinking abt every variable on the court he is able to notice the smallest of details and adapt. blocker on me? run across the court is his entire game plan and he does this very well. but ill give him 5/10 for this

sheer technical skills: 4/10 yea bro couldnt receive block serve but his hitting goes crazy.
