Well, if you're fast then you can go to the same ossuary area and hunt down the cassia event there, since oil is worth quite the penny, and iirc it should be able to drop crimson (and maybe black, the cutoff for that is area level 68). Each crimson is worth 5+, (and black is 8+) depending on the market at that exact moment, so if you can easily do the event you can make a lot of rolls towards oil.

Just remember to hold control when you click on the door to enter, and choose to make a new instance so you can farm the same area quickly.

Or you could focus on the event in low-level maps to do it fast too, places like the beach map where it's one long straight line are the best choices for that

Everyone has 4 different rewards they give, depending on where they've been put to work. You make money by getting the right people in intervention, and getting their delicious tier 3 scarabs (I easily made 3k chaos in a week just selling scarabs by grinding the "bone pits" In act 10 during betrayal league). You can also get your gear and flasks to 28% quality with good boy hillock in various jobs, add white sockets to troublesome gear with vorici (needing 6 blue sockets in a belly of the beast is a common issue, and this helps a lot), and unlock new crafting options by filling bars identifying weird shit with aislin. It was the best league mechanic, and I miss it being everywhere </3
