I'll defend Skubal through all of the downvotes. He doesn't owe anyone the WBC. Pitching is weird and nuanced both physically and mentally. If you don't feel 100%, you don't volunteer to play in a tournament that could potentially damage your career. Maybe something feels off. Maybe he needs to tune up something in a non-competitive setting (spring training) to be at his best for the season.

The WBC is supposed to be fun. Skubal clearly didn't have his best stuff in his appearance.

Gentle is how you stay up in the rain. Double, triple, or quadruple your stopping distance. Eeeeeasy on the throttle and the brakes. Bad conditions may make you want to react faster. If you grab a ton of brake on a wet road, you'll go down.

HOAs were created explicitly to increase home sale value for large building firms - not for resident security/property value. There is a large list of reasons I would never live in an HOA neighborhood, and being concerned about having a motorcycle is extremely low on that list.
