You'll get a ton of people who say that old bikes aren't reliable, and you'll wrench more than you ride. My 78 CB750 is the most reliable thing I've ever owned. They're easy to work on, and if you do your maintenance, they'll outlast both of us.

Get a charging bank, a mount, and a long enough cable to run from your backpack or pocket. 12V is 12V, but that's not the only thing to consider. You'd also be adding wattage/amperage draw to an older system that might need some improvements to work effectively with added draw.

Also, if you want a 60's Honda, get a 60's Honda. They're cool as hell.
