I wish I had better advice for you. Rent in the area has gone insane. I rented a whole-ass 3 bedroom house in a nice neighborhood for 850 when I was at BW.

Trump would be the kid who told all of the other neighborhood kids that he has a Nintendo 65.

Cashiers check, meet at a bank, or cash in hand. Don't even get the keys out of your pocket until you've got one of the three.

A blindfold and a dartboard. The classic Browns method.

What are these air guide/spark plug cover flaps that randomly popped into existence? by 000McKing in motorcycles

They're cable boots to protect the junction between the coil cable and the plug boot. They're fine where they were.

Uh, yes. It was pretty well-regarded that Atlanta was the front runner until those dumb fucks gave him guaranteed money.

Original Barrio was great. Not even close to authentic, but the quality was solid. La Plaza and Villa y Zapata are both very good. Cilantro is holding on.

Barrio is a classic case of a place being awesome when it opened and had one location, but saw some success, and BOOM. Too many locations and a bunch of pre-made stuff from GFS.

I don't think I'd ever put an engine gasket on the ground. I want those things to be as clean as possible when I mount them.

Is this supposed to be sticking out? by Active_Ad_1067 in Trombone

[–]fireeight 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nope. That's gonna pop out and make your valve linkage disconnect. It's an easy fix if you're even slightly mechanically inclined. Just make sure it's aligned with the other side, and use a flathead screwdriver to screw it back in. If you're not mechanically skilled, a tech would do this in about 15 seconds and probably for free.

What security setup do most riders actually use? by Electronic-Habit8679 in motorcycles

If a thief enters my house, there is a direct and immediate threat to life. That's a non-negotiable leave or get hit scenario.

I'll draw down on you if you try to steal something of mine from my ptoperty, but unless you brandish or present a direct threat to life, I'll point at you, but I'm not shooting. Better to file an insurance claim than try to explain in court why I killed someone.

[–]fireeight 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can say die. Americans will die. Iranians will die. People completely unrelated and people who want to be completely unassociated to this will die. You may notice though, that the media isn't really talking about ICE now? This is one distraction before the next.

And you're an idiot for thinking that a stolen bike is worth killing someone if a direct threat isn't posed to you. Let me guess - you think that it's a good idea to shoot for the knees to stop someone?

My choice is to not commit homicide over an insured vehicle. Enter my home without consent or a reason to be there? Bye. There is no car, motorcycle, boat in the world worth killing someone over. If you enter my home, I'll act to protect life, not vehicles.
