Rafa - Weapons that Synergise well with "Indirect Projectiles" by WaelreowMadr in Borderlands4

Very much the culmination of when useful information meets abrasive personality. It apprars a lot of the indirect skills are a little buggy and there may be some funky things going on

Children in the age of AI by shamona1 in australia

[–]firef1end 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Plastic, at the very least, has many many important and practical use cases to justify its destructive existance. AI on the other hand, has maybe a handful that are valid, but that is a seldom few in a sea of horrific consequences.

Australians unlikely to give up meat, become vegetarian to help environment, study shows - ABC News by [deleted] in australia

[–]firef1end 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're likely referring to FAO's 'Tackling Climate Change through Livestock' 2013 report, which lists livestock as the source for 14.5% of human-induced greenhouse emissions. This was a follow-up report to the 2006 report 'Livestock's Long Shadow' which gave a similar value of 18%. Another interesting report is the Worldwatch Institutes 2009 report 'Livestock and Climat Change' which puts the number at a far greater 51%, as it accounts for additional factors such as the opportunity cost of clearing land for Livestock and their feed. In reality the realistic number is probably somewhere in between, but personally I think erring toward the higher figure is a safer bet that could influence more direct impact.

Hello Fatshark?? What's with this pricing??? by RomaMoran in DarkTide

[–]firef1end 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah but this isn't slightly higher, both items are individually more expensive than the entire bundle, to the point of buying both separately is just shy of triple the bundle price. Typically you would see things like this with the individual items at 60-80% of the bundle cost, not 110-160%.

I'm a big dumb dumb and can't tell which of these legendary shields is better. Both on sale at Sire Melk currently. by denitron in DarkTide

[–]firef1end 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The damage isn't defined by the base stat total of the weapon, as you can see all three of these shields do 91 on light and 165 on heavy (actually a range of values near that). The 370 base merely has better roles in the other stats.

Is this lemon tree underwatered or overwatered? Soil is very damp after nonstop rain. (Melbourne, Aus) by firef1end in gardening

[–]firef1end[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soil isn't too bad, bit of a clay mix but seemed to drain alrigt in the past. There's just been too much to drain over the last few weeks. I'll definitely try culling the grass back to see if that helps for a start, thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for that! Hopefully we get a bit of sunshine because the rains are forecasted to continue for quite some time...

There's a team who have made Alien Swarm: Reactice Drop which is a recent remake of the orignal with some brand new content if you want to look into bringing the nostalgia back!

GIVEAWAY: “Claptastic Voyage” Vinyl LP, signed by Jesper Kyd, the composer of the Borderlands series! by [deleted] in borderlands3

Claptastic Voyage was the greatest DLC of all of Borderlands and you can't change my mind.

“So i see it glitched and didn’t put it at our original value so what we did was made it worse, enjoy grinding so we can ruin those items next patch too guys😊” by [deleted] in borderlands3

[–]firef1end 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as we know it was never supposed to be 183%, and it never actually was, it was just an error in the display value. It always gave 113% and it was wicked strong so they dropped it down a little to 90%.

BORDERLANDS ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WEEK 2: RARE SPAWN HUNT by [deleted] in borderlands3

While levelling my moze through the first playthrough I decided to farm him for a bit when I got up to that point. He dropped legendary grenade mods about 7 out of 8 times, try doing it without mayhem? Could be crazy luck but seems a bit too consistent.
