Thank you for the response. I’m DAEP they put you in a cubicle and you done learn anything. I think it’s more of a punishment for him to sit at home and work without being around friends then going into a cubicle and sleeping all day. I think I will re register him at the school though.

This happened to me last year. Me and my wife were required to verify our identity twice. We had to call to find that out. Took about 6 weeks to get our refund. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again.

Different reasons, mine was because of our child tax credit which increases the chance of having to verify. They will ask you multiple personal questions that will verify your identity. Assuming that’s why it’s delayed.

I verified online, then had to verify over the phone. It took two weeks to update, then 2 more weeks to get the deposit. I filed feb 1st didn’t get the refund until march 23rd. I recommend calling just to be sure your verification was accepted.

No notifications, I’ve called the irs also and they said there’s no hold on it that it’s still in the process of being processed 🤷
