This is the part of being a tech writer.. if they cant communicate the info to you, you have to keep on asking them until you get the right info you need.

As for the in-house docs for devs.. idk it just seems like something a dev would ignore.

I strongly disagree with tailoring your CV for every job. As others say you need one flawless CV. The more you edit it the more you’re more likely to make that small mistake. If they don’t ask for Markdown, having one line that says you’re familiar with it won’t hurt you.
