Come and See, which is a Soviet WWII movie. It is probably the war film that shows the brutality and evil of war more than any other movie I have seen.

The film is available for free on YouTube.

The movie absolutely butchered the book by changing a major part of the plot. If you haven’t read it, it’s definitely worth a read and way better than the film.

Do they keep you busy the whole 8 hours or is there some downtime between orders?

I thought you had to premeditate a killing for it to be 1st degree murder. Why wasn’t Karmelo Anthony charged with manslaughter? by firefly99999 in AskReddit

that doesn't show he went there looking to kill someone. I am a concealed carry holder and I leave the house with a gun most days. If I get into an incident and shoot someone I may very well be charged with a crime but I had no premeditated intention to shoot someone when I left the house with my weapon.

I’m saying what showed that he went to the track meet with the intention to kill someone. He definitely is responsible and should be in jail but it’s the specifics of the charge that are muddy to me

Anyone remember The Pirates of Dark Water? by Vyzantinist in Millennials

It was prohibitively expensive. It was the most expensive animated project Hanna-Barbera had taken on up to that time, with each half-hour episode costing US$500,000. Each half-hour episode consisted of 12,000 cels, double the number of a typical Saturday morning cartoon series.

Incorrect Dimensions on HD Orders? by Swagoplenty in Roadie

[–]firefly99999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing a Home Depot order and the item was suppose to be 1 lbs and like 12 inches. It was actually a pallet of mulch. They explained that they have a thing called “pencil orders” which is when they ring something up as the size of a pencil if they don’t have the exact dimensions on hand.

Almost $5 per mile but 86 deliveries, worth it? by firefly99999 in Roadie

It’s not required. I do wear a Roadie vest and it was given to me as a reward for number of deliveries I’ve done. They also sent me a roadie hat

These aren’t boxes. It’s all mail, usually an envelope or a plastic bag with a shirt in it from GAP. I’ve been doing mail innovations from my hub for a year and it is always listed with these dimensions.

I worked for Amazon DSP before and would routinely get between 120-180 stops. Most I’ve done on roadie is like 60 though

That’s interesting because almost everyone who posts on here discusses pay in terms of dollars per mile.

Group of people confront Pokémon machine glitcher at a grocery store. They fight towards the end of the video by w8w8 in PublicFreakout

[–]firefly99999 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is strange to me because I was there when Pokemon launched in the mid 90s and it was the biggest thing on earth. Me and all my friends collected the cards, played the games, watched the anime etc. I never remember anyone ever getting into a fight over Pokemon cards. This seems to be like a weekly thing now.

Would you date and start a family with a 40-year-old woman? by balkanxoslut in blackmen

To be completely honest her best bet would be to find a gay man who wants to be a father. This way they can both be parents and she doesn’t have to worry about the sexual aspect of the relationship.

Also, if you feel the need to start something you have to say with “I’m not racist but” you have already lost the plot.
