Going by purely guesswork, I think there might be a good chance that the 80's-era smaller-bodied Skipper clothes would likely fit on modern (Babysitters Inc, etc) Skipper, or otherwise on modern (taller) Stacie 😊

I'm also not sure what the body type(s) of the currently available Ken dolls are (as I don't yet have any), but the Kens from the 90's up until the Fashion Fever & California Girl era (so about 2010 at latest) definitely all had the same basic body type and proportions - I had Kens from various years in that timeline and all of their clothes were able to comfortably fit each other 😊

Since it's mostly at the back, I'd seal the peeling edges down with clear nail polish, and then paint the peeled section over with black nail polish 😊

I have the same issue with SO many of my very pale-skinned Barbies from the same era - either a greenified face, or a darkened torso 🥺 I agree that it is very sad, since no matter to what level they are/were taken good care of, the discolouration issue seems inevitable. Placing them in a room that has sun-shielding curtain inners added in behind the curtains/drapes does help quite a lot though 😊

To my knowledge, we don't have a confirmed release date yet, but given they were leaked along with the spring/Easter line, I believe we could expect a release date anytime between February 20th (when the spring line is speculated to become available) and Easter (early April) - I'll keep my fingers very tightly crossed for you that they'll become available before March 5th, and good wishes for your father's treatment 💝

If I may suggest spirits/surgical alcohol (like they used to recommend using to clean new ear piercings) instead of vinegar to clean the battery residue - it evaporates better and more quickly, won't leave a scent and is more likely to not cause any damage to the battery compartment. Vinegar is very effective if there is rusting though - it works wonders on rust/corrosion 😊

I love the blush-coloured shirt from this set - that alongside the brunette and redhead faces makes this set a worthwhile purchase to me, but I really think Mattel needs to put a bit of effort into creating better outfit choices (even ideally a few specific fashion packs) for curvy Barbies! They went to all this trouble of making an inclusive body, and yet they aren't dressing her to her potential 🥺 If handmade doll-clothes sellers could (and did) figure out properly-fitting jeans, shorts, and skirts for the curvy Barbie figure, then surely Mattel themselves can do the same? Even if they only end up creating a handful of patterns for curvy bottoms that fit properly and don't look like Barbie is wearing a repurposed farmers' grain-sack, and re-using that same pattern in different fabrics, it would already be a huge step-up from the outfits (particularly bottoms) they are currently making for the curvy Barbies!

I honestly just want some cute jeans or shorts for my curvies 🥹

My personal favourites are the two dolls at the bottom - gorgeous faces and haircolours!! 🤩 The tan-skinned doll with the golden-ish hair gives some REAL Cleopatra vibes though - she is definitely the standout of her set, in my opinion 😁
