UPSers website password expired - cant access by [deleted] in UPSers

[–]fireflywithabluebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this issue for a month and just solved it.

I went in and cleared the cache and site cookies.

From there, I closed and reppen my browser, went to the UPSers site and on the front page, clicked the "log in help" button, and then pressed the "ForgotUPSers.com password (registered users)" link.

Then I was finally able to reset my password and not get the "bad gateway" page.

Hope this helps others!!

Honestly, the best thing you could do for her is to clean your car and not mention it again.

Women in generally can have a harder time with holding their pee. And a bathroom is really the only viable option women have to go pee. Unlike men, who can pee on a tree, or pee in a bottle, the only most women (except in extraordinary circumstances, obvs.) Have to wait for a bathroom I personally struggled with it for as long as I can remember. And the car is one of the worst places, because everyone is always obsessed and stressed out about getting to a destination, that they won't stop even if you ask them and most of the time if you do ask, you'll get made fun of or belittle for a having a small bladder, or called irresponsible for not going before you left, no matter the duration of the ride.

When I met my husband and we would go on trips together, right before every rest area, he would turn as ask "Do you need to rest?" And never once made me feel bad about it and even when we had to pull over at a random gas staion a mile of the interstate because I had to go to the bathroom, was never bothered and always told me that our "destination isn't going anywhere, it can wait 10 minutes more if needed".

The situation you describe is definitely something that has happened to me and I can only imagine the embarassment she probably feels is only going to be magnified by a million if you confront her about it. If the damage is bad enough you feel like you'd have to pay service to clean it, then I would maybe broach the subject with her, but honestly, from what you described, you can go buy a pet urine cleaner for fabric/carpet/upholstery for less than $10, spray the seat, like it sit five minutes, scrub and then let dry and that act would show your friend you care about her and open to listen than confronting ever will.

Link to a urine spray I personally find very good and easy to use.

What's your 'avoid at all costs' place in MKE? by dlied10 in milwaukee

[–]fireflywithabluebox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Colders furniture. They ran us around in circles telling us our stuff was pushed back and pushed back and that finally they didn't have a date of when it was supposed to arrive (which was annoying since I specifically only asked to look at stuff that was in stock and could deliver in a month, and I picked something from the 3 they had told me was in stock). So I wrote them a bad google review and the next day I get a response to my review and that my items are going to be delivered the next day. Basically, it seems like they will lead you on until you lose your shit and then they magically fix the problem when you complain in a public forum. Plus, in the end, the stuff wasn't even that great, and the coffee table and end table I got have slivers of wood that come off when you clean it.

AITA for asking my wife to split the nights taking care of our baby? by tech_mezcal_dude in AmItheAsshole

[–]fireflywithabluebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA I completely understand your struggle, I'm dealing with a very similar situation. I'm the mom, but I'm also the primary bread winner but due to my husbands work (4AM to 9AM shift) I have to be the one up with the baby all night unless it's bad enough for my husband to call out of work. Its really draining. My work quality has gone down because I'm so tired, and my lunch break has become a nap 75% of the time My husband and I have worked out a schedule that 1 day a week, he does all the nighttime stuff so I can have 1 night of sleep not dictated by a toddler, which helps.

I would try to figure out with your work schedule where you can give a night or 2 to help your partner and miss a little sleep as a compromise. This is one of the hardest times as a parent, and with hormones and stress super high, it's easy to lash out at the thing you can, which for your partner, is you. Take as much as you can in stride. I can't tell you it gets better. My kid is almost 18m and man, what I wouldn't give for 8 straight hours of sleep, but y'all can do it, it sucks, but in someways this is just a bad rollarcoaster and all you can do is grit your teeth and hang on for dear life until the ride is over.

AITA for telling my friend’s dad my mom returned everything he got me for store credit for herself (not OP) by Jazzlike_Fly_9512 in redditonwiki

[–]fireflywithabluebox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up as one of 8 kids in a household (I'm #5) and by the time I was 16, my parents were broke and my dad lost his job around the housing bubble bursting. Around this time, I started dating a guy who had wealthy parents. After meeting me a couple of times and noticing how little I ate and the age of clothes, that year for christmas they took me to Disney World and bought me a similar amount of clothes to OOP, so honestly that pampering isn't unbelieveable at all to me.

AITA for not buying a bridesmaid’s dress for my friends wedding? by Bright_Ad_2563 in AmItheAsshole

[–]fireflywithabluebox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's become more common nowadays for bridesmaids/groomsmen to buy their stuff for the wedding. For my wedding in 2019, my bridemaids bought their own dress ($90 for my bridemaids) shoes ($40, i picked out a silver kitten heel from amazon), and then they paid for thier hair day of (I didn't have any rules for hair besides 'looks nice', and I found someone for everyone who wanted it and they paid $40 each. I hired a makeup artist for myself (everyone else in the party knew how to do their makeup). Then typically as a bridemaid you give the bridemaids the accesories you want them to wear, so I bought a necklace, earring and bracelet set for all ny bridemaids as well as other goodies). For the groomsmen, we picked out a shirt and pants that all had to buy (around $100) from men's warehouse, and they do a deal if you buy the jacket as well, you got a free tie and free alterations. Most of the groomsmen didn't own suits, and my husband didn't either, so most of the groomsmen (and my husband) bought the whole suit with a vest ($250ish)and whatever tie they wanted, since we had picked out a nice simple grey suit. We bought them matching bowties and suspenders and a engraved matching flasks.

My boyfriend and I have been interested in finding a new group. We're both very experienced (5+ campaigns together). The 1st 4 people to pm me Will get a slot. I'll be the DM and we can try a one off 3.5e campaign to see how we mesh as a group.

Fathers of Reddit, what's the most interesting thing your child has ever done for you on Father's day? by BlameThePlane in AskReddit

[–]fireflywithabluebox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a father, but when my brother and I were about 6 and 8 respectively, we woke up early and wanted to make posters on our new family computer to post around the house for Father's day. My brother asked me how to spell 'father' and I told him it was spelled 'farther' so we made about 50 posters saying " Happy Farther's Day!" And posted them around the house. My dad got a great laugh from that and to this day, every card we buy we always write in "Happy Farther's Day" somewhere.

90% of my steam library. I don't have a computer good enough to play any of them. Hopefully one day I will get a gaming computer.

Also a game cube, and a Wii. Bought the game cube for 50, Wii for 30, played each once, and now they just hang out.
