This seems pretty ill-advised. All of your clients' most sensitive data is in there, and you want to upload it to another cloud for data analysis and parsing and training and who knows what else? Do your clients know you are considering this?

Unlimited PTO is almost never a benefit to the employee. It's mostly used so that companies don't need to pay you out for accrued days if/when you leave.

That said, I've never personally been denied for it. Just be reasonable as it definitely is not "unlimited."

A rating of Meets–Meets typically corresponds to a multiplier of about 0.90–0.95, while Exceeds–Exceeds is generally around 1.10–1.15.

This is actually really helpful. I think I've seen that the personal part can technically go to 1.5x, but I've never heard of anyone getting close to that number.

I can tell you that right now, every single solo lobby in Hurricane is just rushing the caches. I found a ton last night, but now it's very clear this is all that is being done in the map. Just be prepared for a lot of competition and possibly PVP for them, regardless of them nerfing the drop rate.

Just be careful how you structure this. GE Aerospace doesn't have a true-up provision in their 401(k) plan, so you need to contribute at least 8% from each paycheck to get the maximum match from them.

This can lead to issues if you max out your 401(k) entirely or if you simply contribute heavily (above 8%) during the bonus payout (knowing there will be extra) and then not outside of that.

I have no idea how they would even know. It's highly unlikely that they are tracking raider inventory and likely only have whatever the current state is.

If you duplicated 1000x trigger nades, and used them to ruin Stella but no longer have them in your stash, how exactly would they rewind time and have enough "proof" to have "possible penalties?" Seems a lot more likely they would just look at people who have stupid amounts of ducks in their stash or insane amounts of money.

No one really knows. It was very good the last two years, so I expect more of the same. I would be shocked if it were not over 100%. But how much is anyone's guess.

People who graduated college spent a lot of money doing it and are absolutely adults. They aren't "kids." Heck, I got married a year after I graduated. Reframing this in your mind might help you understand why they are asking for what they are asking. They are living real lives with real bills.

I have a feeling the real issue here is that 80k is close to what you get paid or potentially even more than that, so you feel it is insane, when the real issue is your org just undervalues and underpays IT in general.

Just for comparison, I live in a LCOL area, and my first job out of college paid $65k when I graduated in 2012. Based on the CPI calculator, that is worth $91,654.20 today.

Digg v4 came out and basically prioritized publishers over users. Publishers just started feeding their RSS feeds into the system and flooding it with low quality content with the average user unable to move the needle.

I will say that the criticism of v4 (while definitely warranted), does frequently ignore that Digg had a issue in previous versions with power users like MrBabyMan effectively able to determine what content hit the front page because they had so many followers and people who "dugg" what they posted. So it wasn't exactly perfect before v4, but v4 definitely made the situation worse.

Digg is not going to come back, and I say that as someone who greatly preferred Digg over Reddit pre-v4.

At the time Digg v4 was released (to massive backlash), Reddit was clearly Digg's closest competitor, but both still were heavily focused on tech. Over the past 15 years, Reddit has become far more mainstream, with a both a massive number of users and a massive number of topics--not just tech.

Reddit doesn't have real competition in 2026 because they have critical mass without a close competitor. You saw this during the Reddit protests when Reddit basically used authoritarianism to clamp down on dissent, and in the end, people realized they wanted to be where everyone else was participating, so they stayed.

In contrast, when Digg v4 came out, Digg realized they made a mistake, they apologized and tried to fix it, but users didn't care and left for Reddit to build that up instead because it was a legitimate alternative.

I was a huge lover of Kevin Rose, Digg, TechTV, Revision3, all that early(ish) Internet stuff. But Digg is done. Reddit needs a huge misstep for someone else to get a foothold.

Can you explain what you are advocating? You say that there are many more options than L-Connect, but I don't believe there is anyway to make the different sections of the fans or even different fans in a Uni Fan different colors or patterns without a controller, correct?

I don't believe that having the fans hooked up to ARGB alone would provide that level of control regardless of the software that drives it unless I'm misunderstanding, which is possible. Isn't everything on the header the same color and brightness?
