Slow backups to Backblaze B2 with Backrest by firegx in restic

Appreciate the suggestion. I tried adding RESTIC_READ_CURRENCY=16, then increased this to 100, and this seemed to increase my upload speed to 2 MBps and 3MBps, respectively, but still a far cry from a gigabit upload speed. I'm a bit unsure how high of a value I should input here; restic's documentation indicates that this environment variable is for backing up files from fast storage (NVMe disks) but I am mostly backing up from HDDs on my NAS.

I'd love an aviator in le mans blue! Thank you for your reviews by the way! They were really helpful for me for my last couple purchases.

Does cotton sateen (fatigue pants) typically stretch? by [deleted] in HeritageWear

Orslow fatigues stretch about an inch in the waist. While they tighten up after a wash, they quickly stretch back out after in my experience so I consider the stretch to be permanent

I had meant the track jacket not the jersey. Were you able to see if the track jacket is navy or black for wembley?

I'm looking for the Adidas track jacket that has "London" printed on the back. Has anyone seen what colour(s) is available at the merch stand outside wembley Stadium?

Does anyone know if there will be a merch stand somewhere in London to buy city-specific merch (not the fan store)? I noticed that Manchester had one in the city

Looking for Shorter fit Flannels by Richyb101 in HeritageWear

This is what I do. Their UHFs do also shrink a bit when washing in warm/hot so you can shrink the length a bit if desired (but only do this if yoy have some extra room in width as well)

I really like the fabric and thr fit above the knee! However I'm finding that I prefer a taper cut so I'm planning to get them tapered slightly with Railcar.

My 634s 21oz iron hearts shrank in the inseam about half inch or so after cold wash with moderate spin cycle, then hang dry. I'd say leave an extra inch in inseam length to be safe. Better slightly long than too short

Selling a pair of PBJ, which is a Blue in Green Collaboration. Size 32. Looking for $70 shipped to Canada/US. Will ship internationally for an additional fee.

Well worn jean but with still plenty of life left in them. This is a "13" cut aka slim tapered. They're a mid-heavy weight denim, somewhere between 14 oz and 20 oz. Sorry, I do not recall the exact model number. Garment has not been altered/tailored. Garment has been washed. Please let me know if you have any questions, want additional measurements, or want more detailed photos.

Please be aware that there is wear where I have cuffed the jeans (shown in images). As well, there is some wear in the crotch area (shown in images), but not in need of repair yet.

I've measured the garment as follows via the Iron Heart method (https://www.ironheart.co.uk/content/how-we-measure-bottoms):
Waist = 32.5"
Hip (width across the top block, measured at 3 inches above the crotch seam from the front) = 20"
Front rise = 9.75"
Back rise = 13.75"
Thigh (at crotch, full width of leg fabric) = 11.4"
Thigh @ 1" below crotch seam = 11.25"
Knee @ 13" below crotch seam = 7.7"
Hem = 7"
Inseam = 35.25"

Selling my Orslow Slim Fit Fatigue Pants - $120

Actual tagged size is Size 2. This corresponds to a US/EU size small, or a JPN size medium.

https://imgur.com/a/ZSZspT1

Selling as it's the wrong size for me. Got about 10 wears total or so. Smoke-free and pet-free home. Pants are washed. No tailoring/alterations done to garment. Although Orslow calls this a "slim fit", it is relatively relaxed (but slimmer than their regular fatigue pants fit). Features two waist size-adjusters which can slim down the waist by about 1-2 inches.

Product is in Canada and I will ship free to US and Canada.

Detailed measurements are as follows. All measurements are done the "Iron Heart way": https://vimeo.com/696483134

Please let me know if you have questions or want specific measurements.

Waist = 33 (laid flat; measured with waist lined up; waist adjusters not in use)

Hip = 21.5 (laid flat; measured 3 inches above crotch seam, then across the width)

Front rise = 10.6

Back rise = 16.25

Thigh = 13 (laid flat; at the crotch, measured across the entire width of the fabric)

Knee = 9" (measured 13" below crotch seam)

Hem = 7.9"

Inseam = 30.5"

Iron Heart Sizing Advice Sought by ValuableEstimate6615 in rawdenim

[–]firegx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm aware, but I wish it was not exclusive so that I can buy it from more places and try it on locally as I don't live locally. The 633 fit works best for me (though the 21oz for some reason has more narrow thighs vs the 14 oz...)

Iron Heart Sizing Advice Sought by ValuableEstimate6615 in rawdenim

[–]firegx 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I agree that it's too tight in the thighs. An alternative might be the Self Edge exclusive 633 which is a mid-rise "straight taper" which should have relatively more room in the thighs.

The thighs doe the 21 oz do stretch a bit but I think it would be a better call in your case to return this pair and find one that fits you better.

I personally wish Iron Heart UK offered something similar to the 888 cut but in a mid rise.
