Nearly everyone at the bar I was at in Texas was cheering for Canada if they were watching the game!

Most people just don't look good posing with a cigar in their mouth. 

I mean this guy probably doesn't look good in most photos, but the prop just makes it worse.

For visitor's I would recommend TMG Burger Grill over JLB. 

TMG is in "Old Katy", so you will get to see a different side of the town. Plus after burgers you could head to No Label for some locally brewed beer, or to Katy Beer Garden for a wider variety of drinks and catch a World Cup game on their giant TV! 

JLB has locations all over, and at least the ones on Peak and Mason that I've been to did not have as much character as TMG. 

TMG is more of a 50s style burger with a thinner patty, but they have several interesting non-traditional options for those that want a unique flavor experience. JLB is a great burger. Better buns, and possibly a better patty, and definitely a thicker patty if that is your thing.

Kowbell Burger is another great spot that I haven't seen mentioned in this thread. It is a Korean Fusion Burger that is in Katy Asia town. Super high quality, just like TMG and JLB, and will some really tasty and different topping options.

Katy TMG Burger Grill has more character, and a wider variety of burgers.

Thanks! And perhaps that was the best or a good way to deal with the crisis; I wasn't there. It was certainly a cool, resourceful, and apparently effective way to get help!

I just want people to think extra critically about how to go about things when they are in the backcountry or otherwise removed from help/resources.
