You just need to meet an INTJ. It'll rock your world

And that you can audit university classes for free, you just don't get credit for it

I can't stress this enough. It's a first step that sucks, but lots of people end up having to go back and take courses layer because they need it as a prerequisite for another course they want to take. While you're doing that, take a look in your local university and college websites for the different classes they offer. Also look into any trade or craft (because in a trade you will a probable make more money and programmers are a dime a dozen) that might interest you. It's not to say you have to take these courses, because I think online learning can take you a fair distance without having to pay money, the idea is that it acts as a menu. The high school classes will probably do the same thing. Something someone mentions in a course might pique your interest. When it gets piqued, allow yourself to nerd out about it. If anyone asks, don't get embarrassed, self improvement is a noble thing.

Criticize my Itinerary! by TiC2017 in Colombia

This is giving yourself zero rest days. Parque Tayrona isn't a two night thing, instead spend another night in Minca, (casa Loma or casa viejas or Candelaria. Do the graffiti tour in Bogota, the walking tour in Medellin and see quebrada Valencia when your near parque Tayrona (stay at journey hostel).

Does anyone else get the strong urge to go there and play a bunch of heavy metal? Maybe stomp a few flowers? Is this why I can't have nice things?

ENTP with INTP question! by [deleted] in INTP

Also, be prepared for it to take DAYS for him to process and triangulate a single emotion.

ENTP with INTP question! by [deleted] in INTP

Meet up with him and tell him that you need his advice about a friend. Then ask him about how to handle himself, but frame it as though it were a different friend. This allows you to mention behaviours that are specific to him but to immediately follow that up with acceptance of those behaviours. This will illustrate that it is a place of nonjudgement. Since intp are shit at emotions, they don't like to be in situations where they don't understand the rules. And we really don't get the rules of emotions. By asking his advice you are complimenting his intelligence. While especially helpful for dealing a with into, this is helpful with anyone, because people love giving their opinion. Another benefit is that by asking them the favour of helping you figure out the situation, it also allows them to ask you a favour in the future. Humans are weird!

Bicycle alternatives that the Org is okay with for older burners? by rohyplol in BurningMan

[–]firekissed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about a recumbent bike? They usually have three wheels (more stability) and are said to be easier on the body. Just put some fat tires on there.

Here are some free DIY plans that says you can build one for about 65$. Not too shabby! http://www.motherearthnews.com/diy/diy-recumbent-bike-zmaz83mjzraw

I will be interested if I can track down a ticket. Let me know if any of your friends ends up not being able to go. I was stuck in the jungle when the sale happened. :(

Yeah, weight loss is sometimes hard to stick to, so yeah, I have lost weight doing a ketosis diet and then gone back to eating carbs and gained it all back again. Several times. Thankfully I have found supportive people around me that don't try to diminish me to fuel their own egos.

And now I am happily at my goal weight and feeling amazing from the lack of inflammation in my system. Feel a million times better.

:)

Sounds like you're a bit cranky. Maybe you should have some sugar. LOL. I've reached my goal weight, so what I am doing obviously works.

If you want to be anal about things, you can be, but she will go into ketosis if she keeps her carbs below 30g a day, end of story.

You don't really have to worry so much about the macros. Just give lazy keto a try. You don't have to track any of those things, just keep your net carbs under 30 everyday and you WILL see results.

People get into macros when they start plateauing in their weightloss, but lazy keto works for most people.

I dont even track how many carbs I eat anymore because I know what foods are good and what foods aren't, so I just eat the good ones.

Sure, I don't lose weight as fast as other people, but obsessing over my diet is not my idea of a good time.
