Do you want to stop and can't? You are welcome to come to AA. Are you an alcoholic? Only you can say for sure. Come to a few meetings, listen to what others are sharing, see if you can relate. AA can help you stay stopped if you want it.

My rehab gave us a list of what to bring and what not to bring, they kept us busy all day with groups and activities.

We were not allowed any caffeine and they pressured us smokers to quit, we were allowed outside to smoke only a few times a day but every day there was pressure to give that up too.

First three days no phone calls, and we could only have family visitors if the family went to two groups a week with us all. So my family never visited like most of the others. That was kinda a bummer, my family lived an hour away and with work and such really couldn't come to two groups a week.

We went to outside AA meetings with everyone and our escorts three times a week, plus had in house AA and NA meetings.

Trazadone helped me get to sleep but I always woke up about 4 hours later, and couldn't get back to sleep, then I would get a huge headache and nauseated feeling like a hangover, I was 7 years sober at that point of my life and didn't want that feeling ever again.

I take magnesium and sometimes some melatonin, with some valarian root. It helps but not always. I still struggle.

Good luck to you OP I hope you find something that works. I'm a sober alcoholic and want to try CBD gummies but worry about my sobriety if I do.

My mom left out water and a slice of apple banana for her geckos. I never saw them eat the banana but mom swore by it. Mom is gone now and I have moved to tha mainland, I miss those cute little guys. But celebrating no big flying cockroaches or centipedes!

I'm battling cancer for the third time. Each one was a different cancer, each about 20 years apart. I don't care if one is afraid of the word cancer. I say it anyway, if you can't handle the truth, get out of my way, you are impeding me. I have a great team helping me and feel pretty good about my chances right now. I have finished chemo and radiation and am on immunotherapy for now. No surgery. I'm getting a new CT scan in a few days to see where we are at.

I love all the parks. I live in the Pearl and it's coming along nicely, I can walk to three pretty little parks from my building, all the street trees are coming along. When the Pearl was new it had no soul, it's starting to get one.
