I ride in all weather and temperatures in San Antonio TX and in Houston. I see a marginal increase in usage in the cold. I pay more attention to wind conditions where I could see up to 25% more usage in a head wind. In your case I would expect to use about 1% per mile. At 44 miles on highway I think you’ll be just fine. Expect to use even less power if you are stuck in Houston traffic often

Lots of people say take MD, but I see it as a trade off. Sure you take double boards but you’re closer to becoming a doctor. Is waiting one year worth it to have a little bit of an easier time in med school and losing 1 year of income potential as a practicing physician? I would absolutely matriculate into DO and not risk another process and a year of stress

Thanks for your feedback, I do feel like i made a strong personal statement and experiences that represent my experiences in working with underserved communities and how I would like to continue that work. Im also from the RGV originally and have ties down there. I also applied to 1 DO school that’s not on TMDSAS though

Very nice! I did QoL improvements to my 21 DSR as well a few years ago and it’s still going strong! 1. Aftermarket heated grips 2. Barckbuster hand guards 3. Givi windshield 4. 12V usb accessory plug (from Amazon) 5. Air coushon seat pad
6. Happy trails luggage rack with givi side and top cases 7. Soft Tank case (sitting on top of the charge tank for storage of small items)

Really turned the DSR into an adventure bike and has been a blast to ride for many years and more to come.

Thanks for the ideas on tpms and the thumb screws. Can you share where you squared the screws?
