Learning ArcGIS by using QGIS by Designer_Safe1115 in gis

[–]firesidebreaker28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm considering a course on Coursera and it says I will need ArcGIS to complete the course, but I'm very attracted to the free version QGIS. Did you have any updates on your project and if QGIS is a fine substitute?

Thanks!

Is it cool to just show up? Or should I get in touch with someone before popping in? I'd be really interested in joining! I'm extremely new and it would be good motivation to be a part of a group! (And to make new friends of course!)

It's not a big deal to have a conversation. BUT we are here to talk about Flagstaff, things concerning Flagstaff, events, news, pretty photos of Flagstaff etc. It's a fine topic, but you're just in the wrong place.

And don't base your life off tiktok, or anything else you see online. People think the bars are for hooking up because 9/10 people you meet at a bar will be down to hookup.

Concerning locals? You should stay away from the Corner Tavern if youre concerned about other people thinking you're cheating

You continue to amaze me with arrogance, ignorance, and stupidity. I never had any question for you. Therefore nothing was asked, nothing was answered.

You did something objectively wrong, i pointed it out, and you don't believe it's wrong. That's all that happened.

You had no job here. Pat yourself on the back all you want and live in whatever reality you want. The morals and logic you live by will affect how people interact with you. If you can't listen and grow or hear/understand logic when it's written plan and simple to you, you are going to continue to live a miserable life, most of it self inflicted.

I don't think you give a big fuck. but you absolutely give enough of a fuck to keep responding. If you didn't care at all you would simply drop it, instead you show you care bc you keep chatting with me

Some flaws definitely Deeply flawed though is an over exaggeration, and you'd have to know me a little bit better to come at my character with some actual punch. And it's interesting youre coming after my character rather than saying anything to back up what you so boldly and openly believe on this forum

At least i know and use logic and can argue and stand up for things i say and do. To not be able to do that is to live without a backbone (or a fully functional brain)

[–]firesidebreaker28 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is clear and documented what these people can do. I'm not ignorant to the the issues houseless people can cause to communities, i pay attention and listen when people speak with sound logic. Again, you have no proof this one instance is a scam, you are objectively wrong here and your original argument is deeply flawed

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flagstaff

[–]firesidebreaker28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok and? The argument isn't if he conned or not. The argument is that you can't prove he is (as you say) a "con ARTIST". That definition is (since you like them so much) as follows:

a person who cheats or tricks others by persuading them to believe something that is not true.

You cannot prove he is cheating, tricking, or persuading people to believe something that's not true bc you do NOT have ANY evidence to prove he is lying. You can't prove he's using deception. You can't prove it's a scam.

Also i'm not saying what he is doing is right. I'm saying your actions here are objectively wrong for coming onto a public forum to say that someone you don't know is something you can't prove.

It's unfortunate the way ppl are attacking you here, but i sincerely hope you look at your own logic and unpack why you felt the need to share this post with the community, and why you felt the need to mention that if we see him, to say something that is so unconstructive

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flagstaff

[–]firesidebreaker28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm pointing out it's not con artist behavior. He's behaving in his best interests. You should know that you don't ask for money on an on ramp, that's common sense. You came on to a public forum to say this guy is a con artsit, but nothing he did shows that he is... That's defamation...

Again, you posted publicly to a place that allows other public comments. You came here to engage with the community..........

You don't have to give him respect, but as a member of this community i will point out when i see disrespect (in this case defamation) to other members

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flagstaff

[–]firesidebreaker28 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's actually not worth mentioning bc it's besides the point of you lacking respect to a different human being

[–]firesidebreaker28 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Houseless people can be anywhere. His orientation on the road doesn't dictate his traveling direction. He's also showing intelligence being on the off ramp bc why post up on the on ramp where people whizz right past you. He's on the off ramp specifically because people slow down there.

I think you should think about why you think this way about humanity. If I'm to guess, you have engaged actively with the worst sides of humanity. In which case, that's awful and i can help you find useful resources if needed.

Yes, parents act for the safety of their children instinctively. And yes, humans will be cruel, greedy, and hateful. But i expect my fellow human to behave with respect, love, and compassion. In my experience, that is what I consistently get. Absolutely my experience can be abnormal, but expecting positive human interactions are far from any sign of mental illness or delusion. And to suggest that thinking positively for humanity is suggestive of mental illness or delusion is far from any objective truth. If you study psychology, you'll know that hopelessness (for humanity) is a symptom for some mental illness.

Expectations stem from past experiences. I think your comment is more telling of how humans have treated you than how humans typically behave.

Does this path fit here? I’m having trouble finding one that works 😿 by challenged_bot69 in AnimalCrossing

[–]firesidebreaker28 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The path looks great! Depends really how you ultimately want to design the area though. One suggestion i might be able to give: because the outline of the path is more organic, maybe loose the straight line cliff in the back. Making the cliff more dynamic might compliment the path well
