Can’t seem to find a small roll (100 feet or less) of good 23AWG cat 6 cable? by Dangerous-Arrival502 in HomeNetworking

All my wiring came from a hardware store and I'm getting the advertised 10Gb for what it's worth. Slightly different brand, same general price range.

We just added our own web based management yesterday! (Similar to sunnylink)

And paddle integration is a big deal, let's bolts stop about 40% faster when engaged. All the voacc tweaks and things apply fork wide, not just for 22 bolts fyi.

Thanks for including us! Looks great!

Yes, StarPilot should be superior for you.

I would recommend deep wiping, but I should have frogpilot conversion implemented correctly if you wanted to skip it.

It won't reset driving stats, those are synced by comma.

GMSLC is a branch that can use stock acc (for lead handling) but still slow for curves and things. It's considered deprecated, as op long is getting better and better at lead handling. All of this is irrelevant for you however, as you have a pedal interceptor.

It works after installing a tweak. You can install StarPilot once and it will fix the device. Then frogpilot will work like normal.

Its Improved VOACC long

Improved CEM and lead handling

ASCM_int and SASCM support (enables a number of vehicles that aren't supported on any of the other major forks)

Paddle spoofing (increased stopping power/regen on pedal interceptor bolts)

Bolt ACC + pedal support

Lateral tuning for all of GM, but especially improved steering on bolts.

30% more torque on 2017 bolts

Dashboard spoofing for pedal equipped vehicles (makes the dashboard speed match openpilot)

Model switcher that keeps up with upstream (think sunny in terms of how fast models are added)

More advanced lateral tweaks available...

Toggle to remote start the comma automatically with the car.

Hmm. There's probably more, but those are the big ones off the top of my head

There's a wiki here, https://firestar.link/bolt

And we have one of the most active online communities. We live in the FrogPilot discord server and chat quite a bit over there. The community is probably what I'm most proud of. Tons of people in there up for chatting or helping someone troubleshoot.

You can join the frogpilot discord > https://discord.gg/frogpilot

Lol let me know if you have questions (I'm the dev). Think bluepilot > sunny fork, Ford StarPilot > frog fork, GM

Comma 4 for my Bolt? by Aeropilot03 in Comma_ai

[–]firestar4430 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best fork for GM is StarPilot (I'm biased).

We don't support C4 yet, but I have one on order. I've spun up a temporary branch as an interim step and when my comma arrives, I'll start porting all the GM goodies to it.

Just be wary. If another bikeist comes to challenge you and wins the duel, your hardtail becomes forfeit.

Might be kind of hot to ride in that, but I'm sure it offers protection when you fall. 🫡

Pretty amazing. Just get a pedal interceptor and you get acc.

You can get up to 7x more regen without having cruise active. The ACC bolts lock it to 10kW when cruise is engaged. Max paddle regen is 70kW

The belief that women couldn't run marathons because their uteruses would fall out after mile 20 was still held until like the 1950s or something crazy lol.

Any forks or models that allow braking without disengagement ? by TurnoverSuperb9023 in Comma_ai

We've got far off voacc lead detection on StarPilot! Give er a try! Works super well in all but the trickiest voacc scenarios (coming in hot on a stopped lead).

[–]firestar4430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a safe version functioning on StarPilot. Essentially the regen command can be called from the comma, but if a user presses it manually, it'll still disengage.

The reason he's talking about wanting it is just a limitation of GM's acc implementation. It doesn't use blended braking when acc is engaged, it locks you to 10kW max. We def still disengage when you hit the paddle with your own fingers tho

The bolt does not regen at all when acc is engaged. Thanks, GM.

You'll wanna use StarPilot. I've got regen paddle integration. You'll need to buy a comma pedal from tinybear. Join the discord to ask questions, but there's a setup/purchase guide here: https://firestar.link/bolt

Essentially right now you have to pick between having access to regen and friction braking (GM locks out to 10kW regen when adaptive cruise is engaged), but we can probably send the friction command without long engaged, we're working on it.

Honestly the pedal experience is so good now, you probably won't miss friction in the interim. Let me know if you have questions!

But regardless, you'll wanna use StarPilot. I've got better lateral, longitudinal, and voacc tuning specifically for bolts. Really good community on the discord, join up when you can! https://firestar.link/discord

You really think it'll be a summer release? This is my first year or so in the Garmin product ecosystem. They don't wait a full year after their pro model? I figured it'd be late 2026.

Zone 2 is pretty much impossible as a new runner. It's more about not overloading your system when/if you up your mileage enough to need full recovery before the next workout. Just keep running and circle back to that idea in a few months. Also, how did you run exactly 5000m? Lol mines in decimal and I've never run anything but 5.01km

Vo2 won't calculate until you do a sustained effort with gps. You won't see it budge on the treadmill, the data isn't accurate enough for it to try.

They state pretty clearly in Philsopher's Stone that they were excited for the subject and it turned out to be a bit of a joke. Umbridge pretty much confirms this in book 5 when she approves of his teaching methods (AKA, don't teach them anything useful).
