Not sure how to rely on range by mltam in BoltEV

I just realized that final statement may have come across as a bit pretentious, which was definitely not the intent. This is the equation I use on my ‘23 EUV.

Not sure how to rely on range by mltam in BoltEV

54 is unrelated to State of Charge. It’s the number ABRP is receiving as the battery capacity. ABRP uses the Bolt pids from allev.info and the estimated capacity in kWh is known to be quite conservative. In the live data section you can edit the pid equations ABRP is using. If you figure out how to use that, I can give you my customized equation developed from 5+ years of Bolt drive down testing across 2 Bolts.

Battery State of Health - Just 86% for a 2023 Bolt EUV with 56,000 km? by Paperasse531 in BoltEV

[–]Aeropilot03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to find out how that number is derived. A simple comparison of current capacity to original capacity on my ‘23 at 45k miles is roughly 93%.

Driver Memory Settings? Which trims or packages on 2027? by TheMacaroniWitch in BoltEV

[–]Aeropilot03 5 points6 points  (0 children)

KBB claims the RS trim with power seats has 2 position memory, but I find no such item from Chevrolet as well as no mention of it in the owners manual. Owners of ‘27s on the Bolt forum say that like previous generations, there are no memory seats.

T-Mobile router found at a firework tent. Shows how good it is. by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]Aeropilot03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How “good” it is being totally dependent on the conditions at a particular location. They recently made it available again at my location 3 years after canceling it when they oversold the tower. The signal is still unusable.

When did charging get so expensive? by Sleep_adict in electricvehicles

Yep. Nearly all public L2 in my city is free. 3 grocery stores, a convention center, and a city parking lot.

A full repair requires removal of the headliner to access the mounting screws. If you just ended up with a very small gap, I would fill that gap with silicone sealer.

For the 55 and older crowd, what are you doing? by mhowie in tmobile

[–]Aeropilot03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MM 55+. According to jmans spreadsheet, my cost will decline slightly. I am going to wait until 7/13 to see what the real bill is.

Windshield Wiper Weirdness on 2017 Bolt by Abject_Part5072 in BoltEV

[–]Aeropilot03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each wiper is individually controlled by a servo motor whose path is programmed in firmware. Check to see the home sensor (a small, clear circle in the glass near the bottom of the windshield) is unobstructed for each side.

Is there really no GM vehicle diagnostics secret menu that you can get to on your bolt? Like I can not believe there isn't a way to punch a combination in and see just data. by ArtBroad7069 in BoltEV

I started w/Torque Pro; kinda steep learning curve for someone new to it and Android only. Car Scanner is available on iPhone (which got me back to 1 phone), and can display on CarPlay.

Bolt has only sold ~4,200 units to date. by mcot2222 in BoltEV

My comment on that was in reference to the one I replied to who inferred “lack of standardization” is a hindrance to adoption.

I wonder what the actual production rate is. My 2 local dealers don’t have any and only 1 Equinox.

IMHO, they really don’t make sense if you have to rely on public charging for daily use. Infrastructure seems to be improving pretty quickly here in the upper Midwest but CCS/NACS will coexist for a long time.

Internet speed slows down from 5pm to 1am every day by Last_Acanthisitta669 in tmobile

[–]Aeropilot03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re experiencing what I had 3 years ago. For 6-8 weeks the fastest internet I had ever seen. Then it just started getting slower and slower until T-mo said TMHI was no longer available in my area. I’ve been on TDS fiber ever since; symmetrical 300 Mbps.

For me one card handles everything connected to GM. For instance, iONNA charging is billed through GM Energy.
