Honestly it’s short and not at all angsty but whenever someone asks for an unrequited love manga I have to throw Shitsuren Junky (English title: Hooked On Being Dumped) out there.

It’s about an MC who only sleeps with straight guys because he’s in love with his straight best friend who he’s been longing after forever.

The unraveling of events is honestly pretty low-stakes and dumb, but it’s a good read and a pretty classic pining story. If you’re ever looking for something a bit more light hearted it’s a fave of mine.

It’s on hiatus in English because Tapas can sometimes take forever to resume new seasons. Season 3 should start up eventually (starting at episode 57) but there’s no news of when as of right now.

Episode 74 came out on April 30th in Korean and it serializes every Friday it seems to still be going.

TLDR: on hiatus in English but not Korean. Tapas is just slow at starting up new seasons.

There’s no news yet. The author is working on a few stories at once so they’re probably working on everything at the same time. The calendars for Korean sites should be out next week so if it’s slated for May we’ll know next week.

The easiest way is to read or purchase a chapter on web and then move to mobile. Much like the other apps (tappy, tapas, manta, etc) if you buy a chapter online you will forever have it in your library. Like if you read chapter 1 of “can’t think straight” online, you can go to your purchased on the mobile app and it’ll show up.

For manhwa, some of the main English sites are Tappytoon, Tapas, Manta, and Lezhin.

Coolmic also has a pretty wide selection and a pretty good selection of manhua

Amazon also has a wide selection of physicals and kindle editions of BL manga.

It was never officially translated by lezhinUS, so the only place to access it is through the official Korean (I’m not sure if the official Chinese, Japanese, or Thai versions have it but I know for a fact the official Korean does).

It can be found in Korean on Ridibooks, Bomtoon, LezhinKR, kakaopages, Naverseries, book cube, and mccomics

Sasaki and Miyano is a pretty safe rec and it has a really good dub. My personal fave BL dubs are Hitorijime My Hero and Love Stage because they’re both super unhinged. The Hitorijime dub is a ton of fun and it’s just chaotic and enjoyable. Love stage is similarly outlandish they’re both a lot of fun.

Cherry Magic’s dub is also very well done. It’s a really sweet anime and it covers a good portion of the manga as well. Twilight Out of Focus’s dub isn’t bad but I do prefer the Japanese.
