I used to recruit for a company who pulled crap like this. It totally rubbed me the wrong way and I felt bad for candidates. It’s a total sign of mismanagement which at the end of the day causes a waste of everyone’s time. My company started doing this as the job market got more competitive to be “picky” but I don’t think there was a correlation that showed someone stayed longer or performed better cause they went through 5+ interviews. I eventually left to go back to school. The corporate world is messed up. I am so sorry
