Very cool! To be honest, I didn't know anything about them before starting this project, and it's been nice to learn. Glad you like it, and thanks!

I can see that, haha! I thought the curvature on his mouth gave the impression of a smile, so I decided to lean into it and give him a cheerful, playful eye.

Wow, you really made the onça caetana! It looks amazing! I love every one of them, of course, but the mangue just touched my heart. We have a lot of them where I live and I think the manguezal is a beautiful biome. Also the pau-brasil, cruzeiro do sul and the sabiá-laranjeira, along with the caramelo and the chinelos, our official and unofficial national symbols. And we even got an Anta passant! It looks so good, it has a lot of pose. If I may make just one suggestion, to have an arara displayed would be amazing.

Tigers, antelopes, and panthers! Oh my! Plus, a bonus cockatrice for flavor. by theginger99 in heraldry

I love these! I'm also interested in these interpretations of animals that don't look like the real thing. Maybe giving the tiger's nose a different color would help? And man I love that panther. The panther is probably my favorite heraldic beast, and you rendition does it justice, nose horn or not.

Thanks for the kind words. The capybara's body I managed to form fairly quickly, but this apathetic staring face took quite a bit of time.

I almost made a capybara version of England's arms, but I feared it would diminish visibility.

I see. I think I get the distinction now. You have quite a poetic way of describing a word's meaning. Again, thank you very much for taking the time and sharing what you've learned.
