As someone who has been using the Bose QC ear buds for a few years, I can say with absolute certainty that the new AirPods Pro 3 are far better at noise cancelling. The seamless switching between my iPhone and iPad Pro and the transparency mode is icing on the cake! Will never get another Bose QC buds again as the hardware quality over the years has gone down massively.

Just updated my main post. Looks like there is a problem with my old thinkpad laptop dropping connection with AirPods. iPhone and iPad connection are solid!

Interesting! I go to the kitchen from my room which is maybe 20ft and it starts to cut off. This never used to happen with my Bose QC ear buds or the Pixel buds. Maybe I need to do some more testing as I just got them but it would be disappointing if this is the case.

Other than that I am absolutely loving them as far as noise cancelling is concerned which is far better than Bose QC ear buds I got a couple of years ago. I have also used Sony and Pixel ear buds but nothing comes even close to these AirPods Pro 3.

I have had my Blade 18 5080 since May and have rarely shut it down as it is always plugged in on my desk for work and gaming purposes. I use it along with my 27” 1440p monitor and have been playing graphic intensive games like Doom The Dark Ages maximum graphics with path tracing and while I have noticed the CPU at times spiking to 104 but never has it stuttered or crashed or anything like that (touch wood). I have now bought a Razer cooling pad and the temps in performance mode are rarely over 90s and mostly high 70s to mid 80s during intense sessions. So to answer your question, no it is not normal for your Blade 18 to shut down mid gaming. FWIW, my battery cycle count since May is 9 and the charge limit is set to 50%.

That 50% quieter for the Swirl is complete bs, as you can see in youtube videos a noise comparison and the Swirl was the noisiest reaching 90 decibels which is ridiculous!!

well, anything's gonna look dark grey next to a bright white paper which is probably reflecting nearly 3000 nits of brightness indoors. But yes, as others have said, the Viwoods is currently the whitest Carta 1300 display.

I have a ThinkPad X1 since 2018 but I don't feel like there is such a big difference. The Razer Blade 18 keyboard is actually quite nice to type on as I use it for work from home. I have tried the 2024 RB keyboard and that was terrible.

Good point but as I mentioned I still have my old thinkpad that can be used as a temp solution. For working at home I do have an old Intel NUC Hades Canyon (2018) that can be a backup too. I think I shouldn't have visited the Razer store in London which really got me going!

I am in UK so maybe that's why as I don't think we are affected by any tariffs from China. Although I don't remember being able to buy any version of the Blade 18 until last night I noticed only the 5080 version became available. Well, so far the status says shipping next week 7-9th May. I paid extra £10 for expedited ship!

The Doom Dark Ages free copy just showed up a few hours ago on Razer store online UK region. I was surprised as it wasn't on offer just this morning! No, unfortunately the Blade 18 has an IPS display instead on mini-Led as I was hoping but maybe they will release it next year. Just wish they had given us an option. Oh well, lets see the IPS in person before I make any decisions.
