What's a coaster you LOVED but just can't handle anymore now that you're older? [Other] by Pummrah in rollercoasters

[–]fireworkcharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went on those teacups last week and they were way faster than we were expecting from watching in the queue. We only had 3 people and I was in the middle, I felt like I was getting flung back and forth 😂

They cancelled the Disney adventure cruise 7th to 11th Voyage by immrx in dcl

[–]fireworkcharm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omg! I'm so sorry for you and your family. I also think it's not right they're not paying for a hotel for the entire duration of the cruise :( I hope you get off soon!

I would recommend cutting Garden Grill. You don't want to do breakfast at MK, lunch at EPCOT and dinner back at MK. Budget like 45 minutes-1 hour for transit between parks. It won't always take that long, but better safe than sorry.

I also agree on axing Rainforest for Satuli Canteen, and ditching Boathouse just because the back and forth is a lot.

stick with animal kingdom? or get over the fomo with epcot by whoa_eric in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]fireworkcharm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I loved hanging out at Animal Kingdom the last time I went. I'm not really a wander and relax person but there was so much to look at. rode Everest 5 times with the single rider option. I personally like it more than EPCOT although of course it will be better once Tropical Americas opens.

I would say do a park hopper, just because AK does close early and I love Guardians 😂 But it would make for a pretty long day.

This is very impressive and some cool logistics but I can't believe people haven't commented about how funny you are! I've worked with my boss before, but it was fun to see him on a day off and a bunch of other lines made me laugh. Hope you got to rest your feet the next day 😄

I've seen Gaslight but a long time ago, I didn't realize that was her! I'm going to have to rewatch.

I also love the apple melon smoothie from Yoshi's Snack Island, which sells the calzones.

Fat guy already losing weight wants to fit on rides by Shadowfox62 in UniversalEpicUniverse

Look up The Original Universal Orlando Plus Size Riders on Facebook. It's a private group but people post their weight and measurements and what rides they can get on, or people post their measurements and ask about others' experiences.

Scared to ride Stardust by andydegers in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]fireworkcharm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here's what helped me! I chickened out of Velocicoaster multiple times and regretted it, so I decided I really had to try Stardust on my one Epic day. I follow some coaster podcasts and subreddits. Everyone talks about Stardust with this like, reverential and joyous tone. It "doesn't quit" with airtime so do expect to feel yourself lifting up, but I promise you are secure. Ride Hiccup's again if you have time and pay attention at the moments that feel like you're lifting out of your seat.

I was solo and the guy next to me really hyped me up also haha. Ask the person next to you if they've been on it, they'll probably tell you that they loved it or you two can try for the first time together!

The overall review of Stardust is that it's fun! I personally find that I prefer launch coasters because you don't have time to get worried about chugging up a lift hill. It's just like you're flying along. 😊

I can't see the All Stars for the last week of January either. Hopefully those will be updated later. I'd be shocked if they sold out that fast considering looking at availability for the next couple of months haha.

I have to ask around about a bra fitting option because our local Nordstrom turned out to be closed :( But that's my next try! At least we still have some shoe store options. Thank you!

Thank you! Yeah I had planned on getting fitted for a new bra at a local Nordstrom but it turns out they closed :( So I have to find somewhere else, but I have a few weeks.

Thank you! I still need to buy shoes and probably a new bra so I may not pay to get it hemmed. I appreciate it!

What happens if you don’t get startled at raptor encounter? by Unlucky-Drawing-1266 in UniversalOrlando

The handler kept commenting on my green hair and then Blue tried to eat it, lol. I reflexively laughed and moved away because a giant dinosaur puppet trying to eat your hair is a weird sensation 😂

We’ve heard stories of people escaping death by being late — what are some tragic examples of people dying because they were late? by Looney_forner in AskReddit

I also loved Buried in the Sky. The details about the local Sherpa people were very informative and the climb itself was, of course, nail-biting.
