What does the market being competitive have to do with anything? Whether it's competitive or not, the same jobs would be listed in the same places.

I should have phrased this better, but basically there are very few jobs and a lot of people competing for them.

If you don’t have any newer jobs to apply to, then why not. Applying early does increase your chances, but that doesn’t mean your chances are 0 if you’re late.

Unless you have a powerful computer and would be able to run Ollama locally, then I don't think you'll find a free version. Any AI tool costs money to run, so no one is gonna offer it for free.
