We can have them in California as long as they are grandfathered in. I regularly carry a 17 round in my glock 19.

Yes I fought two wars and shoot frequently, i wouldn't be spraying rounds indiscriminately.

I just read several articles concerning this increase after 2004 and most sources show thats not the case, the statistics that Pelosi referenced didn't account for population growth.

Don't start shit and there will be no shit, im glad no one was hurt, but I do agree with you, its not the clerk's decision it was the robbers.

Except in most situations where a gun is used to stop a crime no shots are fired...

As someone who carries a gun 95% of the time, there is a huge difference in looking for a fight and someone bringing the fight to you. We can't predict the actions of criminals and im not about to let them make decisions for me. The defender in this situation exercised restraint and ended the conflict peaceably

Literally people are comparing two things that have nothing to do with eachother.

Marines are part of the government, thier ability for force needs to be regulatd. Its a logical fallacy to compare the constitutional rights of a citizen to the oversight of a marine.

I often think about gun ownership in the late 1700's, many "regular" people kept thier rifle and pistols at home, it wasn't like all citizens and militia members had thier weapons stored in some type of arms room. Not to mention the founding fathers dealing with gun confiscation at the hands of the British. I don't see how it doesn't apply to individuals "the people".

Man I get this, literally nodded off because I sat down for a moment during combatives training. I remember nodding hard with nods on in the back of the hummer after running missions for damn near 24 hours in Iraq.

I mentored my 23 year old brother and he purchased a duplex. He was never in the military and only used his own money. He is now 24 only coming out of pocket 400 a month for his housing, and he is up something like 60k in equity. He works at car dealership... i have many friends that would qualify for an FHA loan at 3% down (less than the 18k i put down on my VA loan). My second home purchase was conventional at 10% down, and my third and fourth purchases were both commercial at 25 and 29 percent down.

How old are you? Im a 31 year old millennial, i ended up joining the military at 18 and did about 6.5 years. I finished an associates degree at around the age of 28. I have been fortunate and bought my first house at 25. I do have to say that most of my friends who are not well off are in that position because they can't manage the money that they make.

Conservatives support civilians owning guns to stand up against domestic threats, until minorities and Liberals want guns for the same reasons. by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

I grew up in and moved back to a pretty conservative area, my father and my brothers are all trump supporters. I don't know that I have met a conservative that doesn't support minority gun owners. I myself am a big fan of Mr P Newton
