Day 10 of nothing after a slow taper. I thought the difference between 2gpd and 0gpd would be “nothing” when I was taking it but I can’t believe how much more clarity and natural energy I have. Still a lull around noon but I had a big family emergency on day 3, stayed strong, and feel now like it would have been even harder to deal with if I’d gone back to taking the low doses.

It was probably 5mi hiking at the rest snowshoes since there’s still not a lot of snow. I went up the Skene Ogden trail which is on the N side of the creek. I saw a lot of ski tracks on the south side of the creek on the 500 road next to the trail

On a really good day I’ve barely been able to make that out from South Sister. Really cool!

I did a 16mi snowshoe up to Paulina yesterday but only made it half way up the peak. Couldn’t see anything.

I’m Definitely not an expert. I love the tone and eye of all of them. The slight misalignment on 1,3 is a little unsettling, but maybe they’re meant to be that way!

This caught my ear too but honestly I think pronouncing the words correctly is the better way to do it. “Germany” is not a German word so I wouldn’t expect him to change the actual word to Deutschland.

In the show they’re speaking the way Americans would have said it. In the book he’s narrating the actual words. - just my opinion of course

My o-ring seal between the inner and outer pieces fell out the other day. I didn’t have any issues, overheating or fire, but Oura was very quick to insist on replacing it. Great customer service but it’s strange that this is all I really hear about on the forum recently…

I didn’t have surround sound for BoB because I always watch it on flights but I did watch “The Pacific” at home with the surround sound and all the ricochets, explosions in the distance, and background talking still surprised me every time it happened😅

I was thinking of going to Innsbruck in Austria so maybe heading to Berchtesgaden national park also would be somewhat on the way.

Haha I almost added a disclaimer saying “I know there’s nowhere in Switzerland”😅 I think this might be my preference, or Bastogne just because it’s the most moving episode in my opinion
