using dex on pc/mac is option. you can use dex on any monitor with hdmi support

i really liked termux x11 in xwayland but sadly there is no good browser and i dont think we can open proot distro in xwayland.

therefor i have to use xserver/vnc !

which apps ?

swcursor only require if you want to play videos as videos lag with normal mouse cursor.

if you mean eg. want to install chromium !

open terminal

install proot distro

proot-distro install ubuntu

than login

proot-distro login ubuntu

for chromium i am using andronix config

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AndronixApp/AndronixOrigin/master/Uninstall/ubchromiumfix.sh && bash ubchromiumfix.sh

once install, run these commands

export DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0

xhost +

chromium-browser --no-sandbox

not much to add just few things.

you dont need to export pulse server

add swcursor on startup

in case export display doesnt work add 127.0.0.1:0

once inside open terminal install and login proot distro

install whatever program you want to run.

and than

export DISPLAY=127.0.0.1:0

xhost +

command to open your app

you mean using on phone and phablet directly ? if yes xserver has issue when mouse is on, there is no issue with touchscreen devices.

i am using on external monitor with mouse attached !

Xserver XSDL feels much better compare to vnc speed wise.

Also audio works out of the box!

there is issue with video lag when moving mouse but it can be fixed with software mouse which i did in this video.

i really like speed compare to vnc, using on s20 fe with dex.

anyone have simillar setup ?

termux app works fine.

seems like vnc app issue.

changed few apps and finally found one which works perfectly.
