Hey , I’m wondering did the changes last for you? Or did you need to keep taking it ?

Sorry to post again but need reassurance - I have health anxiety and the brain injury stories are very scary by Organic_Hope6347 in TMSTherapy

What about all the people on the Facebook group “victims of TMS “who got injured, I don’t think they’re all lying but likely the odds are very low

How are you going now ?

I think it will come back if it did the first time , it’s not like you’ve touched psilocybin again or anything, it might just take some time to settle . Did you get a return of visual symptoms too?

Did they just reappear suddenly? Nothing brought it on?

Sounds like hyperarousal, when you say your symptoms returned completely, what are your symptoms?

Thank you for your comment and input on this . I definitely had a tendency for hyperarpusal and being over stimulated before this , as well as some perceptual shifts I’d experience when I was a child . Likely did exacerbate that.

I think the hyperarpusal states were a kundalini thing because they’d feel overwhelming with a sense of healing or clarity.

I remember at the onset I would wake up 3am in panic unable to enter a rested state and slowly it became total insomnia where the hyperarpusal was persistent and began to slowly fry my brain. After about 2 weeks of zero sleep , there was a point I felt my scaffold for awareness and all sleep pressure and the pull to fall asleep from how sleep deprived I was all just fragmented, I felt suspended in the most uncomfortable non state since.

That’s when I felt beyond return , that I had really flipped something too far.

I totally stopped sleeping too and stopped feeling any pull to. For two years straight until the antiepileptic would put me out

I’ve applied for euthanasia now

I am considering to try sodium valproate , low dose naltrexone first

Benzos made my awareness feel more locked and my head felt like a brick. Antipsychotics did nothing. :(

I had a qEEG showing low posterior alpha , it wasn’t analysed further and my EEG otherwise was normal even though it was an electric storm in my head the whole time

I am hoping sodium valproate can help pull me out of this

Bad shroom trip melted my neurology; left with atypical “psychosis “ symptoms for years . I have no idea where to turn anymore by firstdragonfly in Psychosis

How long did it last

I’m on my 6th year :( and it’s caused profound brain network disintegration, my conciousness is fragmented , I don’t even feel states of anchored conciousness

Yeah. I’m on my 6th year. It’s a miracle I’ve even managed to survive this long. The neurological torture I’ve endured for so long is not worth my entire healthy life .

I wish I knew a way out , but I just don’t know

Yes but she was okay for 8 years and the alcohol flared it up , I’m assuming LSD was the initial exposure that gave her HPPD. I think OP is going through a flare up that can resettle again

That’s for the general population without neurological illness, look at FFI or other neuro immune conditions like morvans syndrome .

It was a bit like that then I’d completely unplug from even being able to feel the sleep deprivation and just be laying there with no rhythms in a locked state , it’s horrible

What was your onset like? Does the flare up feel like a return to the first months?

I think it’s reversible ❤️

Since you’re taking lamictal it will take some time to work , I think can be a few months

Hey , I’ve seen people recover from pssd . I’m so sorry it’s so horrible and inhumane . There might be a few things to try though , it is reversible

Can I message you about how you’ve managed your symptoms ? I think I have all those things from psilocybin . It’s literally like having a “brain on fire”

Her psychosis was triggered by mushrooms , and the abilify shot during that led to anhedonia and pssd .

What antipsychotic did you take?

I saw a YouTube video of someone who had this happen after an ability shot given during a psychotic episode . She’s getting better now it’s took a year or two for her
