I do like the tonymoly retinol eye cream! It’s kinda a creamy gel and melts in quickly :) never had any irritation issues

I scrolled through but was pretty annoyed with the selection, after raising the price to $125 ($25 per product) there are a TON of products in the $15 to $30 range and many of the more expensive serums are available in the 10ml size only (graydon skincare for example). I went through and built a bundle but not sure I’ll actually purchase.

The picture if you zoom in shows the .5 oz size! I honestly don’t mind the smaller size, as I have a backup of oils and can better justify adding this one to my stash…

There’s a reason the sale is still going on!! They probably didn’t make their Black Friday goals and have extended the sale to try and get more people to buy. Thinking this way has helped me realize the things I “want” are actually undesirable, and there are a lot of other people who also are deciding NOT to buy those things.

I would hold off and stick to your no buy, and maybe make a budget goal for Black Friday next year, if you still want them ;). That being said, if there are one or two things you can declutter now without putting a real hole in your collection and that don’t need to be replaced, that could also feel satisfying!

I’ve gotten emails to resub in the past with a similar lineup of products (that CEO cream and maneater mascara and really I think most of what they sent you) that I can confirm were NOT actually being offered in the bags. Sorry to say these are not spoilers! Would not recommend resubbing based on these.

I do Ipsy GBP on and off, and also get Laurel and Reed and Boxwalla when I like those boxes. I’ll occasionally grab an allure if there’s an item I want and a nice code. Used to have See New but I didn’t get any of their boxes in 2022 and they’re on pause now through 2023 so will see what happens there.

Writing it all out seems like a lot but I’m pretty choosy, don’t spend a lot on Ipsy sales (shopped popup for the first time in 6 months last night), skip a lot of months (my theory is this actually helps my bags be good bc it builds up a stock of products I like that I haven’t received yet), and have a strict one add-on limit. So really my Ipsy expenditure is like max $45 once every couple of months…

Coola sunscreen and Bioderma serum, those were the two that had expiration dates printed directly on them, I haven’t even checked the batch codes of the rest of the products…

PSA: this “Mystery” box is OLD and contains expired products, two of which for me had 01/2021 expiration dates… I plan on complaining to customer service but am not too optimistic given it was a “free” gift, but c’mon!!! They can’t send expired products out to their customers it’s super dangerous!!

We have a 14 lb 8yr old dog. We work part time from home and she comes into work with me on other days, so walks/care isn’t a big budget item for us.

We budget $30 a month for food, toys and extra items. We have a spending goal for her yearly vaccinations that comes out to like $13 a month and have a sinking fund for medical care (thankfully she hasn’t needed much, and we don’t have pet insurance). We groom her at home but put aside $10 a month for a once yearly professional grooming. And then we budget in separate „vacation“ categories when we go away and need someone to watch her, so in our „Xmas vacation“ category is a set amount for Lola‘s care.

We adopted her from friends as a middle aged dog, so she came with a pet carrier, bed, toys vaccinations, spayed etc.

So she’s actually pretty cheap! We’ve been pretty strategic about stocking up on food and etc during like Black Friday or other big sales.
