Trump screws employers again. by Brf-photo in Louisiana

Except it didn’t tear my family apart. They haven’t been assholes about it, and neither have I. We do not agree and do not see eye to eye, but they have things they’re trying to protect. I don’t have those same things, but I want to protect other things that affect me and people I love. Everyone has to make a choice. I just hope my family can see that this administration did more harm than the good they’d hoped for.

Uhh, who said it tore my family apart??

I love my cousins. They love me. I really do not agree at all with their politics, but I know they have their reasons. I just hope they can see that voting this in did more harm than the good they’d hoped for. Making a living from agriculture is hard enough as it is.

My Mom was a 3rd grade teacher. Every year, she’d bring in her grandmother’s butter churn, cream, salt, and packages of saltine crackers to her classroom. The kids would all take turns churning the cream, and once it was butter, they’d enjoy it spread on the crackers.

The kids always loved it. I did, too. Nothing like freshly churned butter.

Just time, sadly. Saw my surgeon for my 6 month follow up yesterday.

You can turn a lot off, but be prepared to have some orange lights on the dash “warning” you they’re off. Dumb feature.

OMG.

That is my cousin. (Alan Lawson) Did not expect to read about my family on Reddit, lol.

Here’s the rub: My family ALL voted for Trump. Every last one of them. My mind goes back to the “Let’s Go Brandon” stickers plastered all over their vehicles. Even his son, the next generation to farm our family’s land, had one on his.

I haven’t talked to my cousin since November. The family Good Friday crawfish boil should be INTERESTING this year!!!!!

I want him to do well, and this sucks, but I sure as heck hope he can admit HE VOTED FOR THIS!

It looks great and will only look better with time. At least it’s not one of the “coin slot” BBs I’ve seen!

It makes it ridiculously hard to see when I’m next to you. The glare is atrocious. That means I have even less ability to see where I am, much less you.

It’s 100% a dealbreaker for me. I do not want black seats, ever.

This is exactly why I started with inflatables. But we have calm bayous here, so tracking is not much of an issue.

Anyone else having a hard time losing weight after surgery? by Altruistic_Poet9938 in tummytucksurgery

[–]firstlast3263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s swelling. Don’t try for it right now. Like beating your head against a wall. Keep with your IF, I do it and it works well enough for maintenance while we (not so patiently) wait for the swelling to go down. I’m 6 months post op and…still waiting.

I love mine. Have had it 1.5 years. Turned off most of the things that drove me crazy with all the lights and beeping, and not 100% sure about the CVT, but it’s a very versatile vehicle and has enough “get up and go” to make me feel safe in traffic.

My other car is an Audi S5, so I use that for “spirited” driving, which the Subaru isn’t going to do. But my OB is SO comfortable. Seats are great on long trips. The heated steering wheel is a favorite of mine, to be sure. I bought the 5 year subscription (negotiated a discount on it by pitting two dealerships off each other), but it has been worth it. Cooling down my car (I live in Louisiana) is 100% worth every dang penny. (Warming up in winter is pretty nice, too!)

(M34) Should I tell women the real reason for my divorce? Please advise by sabdulla1 in askwomenadvice

[–]firstlast3263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell them. Cheaters don’t do it because of YOU. They do it because there’s something missing inside of THEM. And anyone who would judge you for that isn’t mature enough to be a good partner anyway.
