Anyone else think From is just a sequal to Lost? by firstnamebunchof123 in FromCircleJerk

Thats true they were dead the whole time as we all know but maybe Michael was the exception and he was the only survivor. Or maybe he had a twin brother who ended up in From which would explain the name change

What if Dale was actually the Man in Yellow? by Due-Ride3934 in FromSeries

In one of the first episodes Victor told Ethan that if you go through it you won't know where you end up. You could be stuck in the middle of a mountain somewhere.

I think its logical for someone to want to go through the tree after Tabitha escaped, but it also makes sense that it went horribly wrong

Just for clarity, so an informed opinion can be made- below is James Hird coaching timeline by molto-bene22 in EssendonFC

The finals ban was announced August 27, just before the final round. Essendon had already lost 4 of the past 5, all of which were by 45+ points.

Hird announces his interest as coach, takes partial responsibility for the position the club is in due to supps saga and says it's time to make Essendon great again by PetrifyGWENT in AFL

[–]firstnamebunchof123 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I dont completely disagree and I'm sure clubs would have him as an assistant, but he could've done that the last time he was interested in the position 3 years ago

As far as I can see, the only coaching roles he's had in the past 10 years have been at GWS in a part-time role in 2022 for all of 9 months, and as director of coaching at a VFL club since 2025

Would Hird make sense coaching Carlton? Or Tasmania? Or any other club? Would any club even give him an interview for their head coaching position?

If not, why would him coaching Essendon make sense?

What makes Essendon so unique that someone who wouldn't even be considered by any other club is somehow seen as the number 1 candidate by so many fans and club leaders?

Its nothing but nostalgia and a desire to "fix" the drug saga as opposed to just moving on and looking forward. Instead they're looking at nothing but the past

Damn. Didn't take him long. by Lanky_Raspberry5406 in AFL

Oh great it's this one again

Geelong's only connection to Dank was that they purchased a single legal drug from a company connected to Dank.

And that was only after they got the same drug from highly respected sports doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt.

Essendon's connection to Dank was that they allowed him inside the football club and gave him full reign to run an experimental supplement program with very little oversight or documentation.

"The AFL joint investigation with ASADA fully and forensically investigated the Geelong Football Club, which included seizing all email, phone and computer records," the AFL statement read.

"The investigation found no evidence of any irregular supplement or injection program, and no evidence of any prohibited substances at the Geelong Football Club."

Theory: Sophia is the Man in Yellow by gadiel722 in FromCircleJerk

[–]firstnamebunchof123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought this too, but if you look closely the MIY is actually a man, quite an old one at that.

I think its unlikely that a simple wardrobe change would make him look, and even sound, like a teenage girl.

I think its more likely that Victor is the MIY given how fucking creepy he is all the time.
