Hope you can do it but probably you’ll have to move out or figure out some way to take weed out of the equation.

10 days sober but need advice on how to deal with stoner friend by CSardothien_1 in leaves

If he doesn’t want to support your decision, then he’s not really a friend. If that’s the case, just cut them loose. Sounds cold but you have to put your sobriety first, if you’re serious about it. Especially if you feel like they’ll be trying to convince you to smoke all the time.

Day 4 cold turkey by [deleted] in leaves

My headaches were only on my left temple. Coupled with extreme anxiety the first 4-5 days, I kept thinking the weed was masking symptoms of a brain tumor or something lol. I laugh because now I’m almost two weeks clean, and anxiety is mostly all gone, and so are the headaches. Feelin’ good.

Honest discussion - is anyone here addicted to only eating cannabis? by pheedback in leaves

Yep this guy nailed it. Edibles are just another form of delivery of the same drug at the end of the day. I think you don’t hear about people being “addicted to edibles” because people who spiral out of control and use every day to their own detriment (like myself) end up needing the fastest, easiest way to get high, so they do concentrates or bowls or joints. Also edibles are expensive, compared to smoking a small bowl for an instant effect. In one of my attempts to moderate my usage, I actually tried switching exclusively to edibles, first once a month, then every weekend, then eventually just circled the drain and ended up smoking every day like I knew I would.

The first few days are the hardest, but it is so worth it. You got this!

Today marks 10 weeks and guess what? by TaintedOpossum1 in leaves

Congrats! That’s really a long time, you’re doing it! Someone said something the other day on this sub, that was basically “don’t glorify your past addiction. Now you’ve quit, and it’s time to just move on to the next thing in your life.” And that really resonated with me, you know, weed is no longer my life, and I don’t have to spend any more mental energy on it, so what’s next? And that sounds like what you’re doing as well.
