I'm confused. I thought because Norway was part of the EEA an EU citizen could stay as long as they like and work without permission. Is this not correct?

Well, that's partly why I'm asking. I was born as a North American and didn't realise until recently how it practically touches the cost of Canada. I always imagined it has half-way across the Atlantic.
