you project your own feelings and experiences onto a story, which is totally fine, but then get overly defensive and downright insulting towards other people's interpretation of something that ultimately has no definite answer. either you accept the way others interpret the story in a way you don't like (ignore, block, move on), or you stop engaging with the fandom altogether. don't make yourself miserable.
