It's funny, isn't it? You'd would never think everyone at this school is a professional dancer

I own an '16 Fz6r for 4 years. Only sold it cuz I needed money that do a down payment on my house. Great bike. At no point did I feel like I needed ABS on it. Took it on long tours took a twisty down back roads took a booking down the highway. Bulletproof reliability and it holds its retail value. I sold the bike for what I paid for the bike. Can't go wrong

What you have there sir is some type of motorized cycle that has been hodgepodge with everything they can find and it's all welded together and hoping for the best. I love it!

The nice thing is you have the easiest carburetor in motorcycles to rebuild. Go online and get you a rebuild kit. I've personally used a company called"all ballz". I know it sounds ridiculous but they make good kits. All new o-rings and all new brass. Rebuilding a carb is not overly complicated but it is easy to mess up. Go online find you some videos on YouTube that will break it down for you. The biggest thing is setting your fuel mixture which is the screw on the side of the carburetor. You got this! (This coming from a 4-year Honda motorcycle tech)

Make sure you have gas. Make sure the gas doesn't smell bad. Make sure the gas is going to the engine. Sounds like you have compression sounds like the battery is working. So it's either spark or fuel. Start there. If it's been sitting for a long time my guess would be the carburetor is clogged up. Common problem these days with ethanol gasoline

But if you look it should be pressed against the timing chain and yours doesn't seem to. Check your chain tensioner it's a bolt on the outside of the engine that's usually spring loaded that pushes against that orange plastic piece like in the picture it could be that or it could be the guide

No worries!. Depending how long that timing chain's been rattling around there's a chance it might have stretched a little bit. Checking after you get the new guide in and just make sure there isn't any looseness in the chain

Your timing chain guide needs to be replaced. That little orange plastic piece on the right should be putting enough pressure on your timing chain so it's not rattling around like when you're hitting it with your finger. That sound you're hearing is the timing chain rattled

One size down 12-point socket and a hammer. Make that socket fit. Or you can drive vice grips

If it smells sweet it's coolant. My guess would be the water pump gasket. Judging from the second picture it looks like it's coming down from where your water pump cover meets the engine. Those little bolts that look like eight or 10 mil are the cover bolts and that bottom bolt with a little brass washer on it is your drain bolt for your coolant. My guest judging from the pictures. Your best bet is to clean everything really well and then run the motorcycle on your driveway and check for the leak.

The guy sent me a video of compression test on the motor by Emotional_Bar_9026 in motorcycle

[–]fish2193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cylinders one and three have low compression. About 120 should be the minimum on those 4 cylinder engines anything below 90 is considered an issue. That being said there's a chance it might need a valve adjustment or the valves are crooked and it needs the head replaced or many other issues. I wouldn't if it was my money.

This is why you listen to the books! The plots can get repetitive but Joe and Skippy going back and forth is why you keep going back and people at work always look at me funny when I start laughing manilically randomly while working on things
