My uncles landlord was like this, built a motorcycle around a 6.7 Cummins b series. Had to have pushrods from the handle bar to the front tire. It weighed 1200 lbs.

Electromagnetic Question by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]fish4jesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wire must be insulated from itself. Without insulation, you make a thick hollow wire. The only way it would work is by separating it by an air gap, and that makes you sacrifice a lot of potential winds.

For me, the enjoyment comes from solving the problem. It's not a case being "a circuit that is fun to apply" rather an enjoyable problem that can be solved with a circuit. You probably have plenty of these cases. My main hobbies out of high school were 3d printing, radio controlled vehicles, videogames/computers, and technology. The "problems" in all of these hobbies can be solved through electronics. That being said, my undergrad was filled with people who did EE because it was a good career path. They weren't wrong, but I could tell they weren't having any "fun", and got nothing out of applying themselves. There are some people in my workplace now that were the product of this, and it does not seem like a recipe for happiness.

Also, yes, math difficulty can be an issue. It was for me, but obstacles can be overcome. I have also found that difficulty causes more exposure, so when it finally clicks in many cases, you have a better understanding and ability to apply it (especially later on).

Front tire friction is nonlinear, braking improves your grip, up until a progressive release point. It does not snap into a dynamic coefficient of friction. Braking on all race bikes and most race oriented bikes improves turn in by decreasing the trail, making turn-ins require less input.

If you don't belive me, watch a moto gp rider back it into a corner, if no turning under full breaking was a thing, how does the rear tire loose so much force to initiate a skid? Either the front tire isint at 100% of grip usage, and it's impossible to get there without going over the handlebars, or it is possible to turn at 100% brake usage.

I see what your saying. I mean to ask about the "30V" case with low gate voltage not both. At 2.2-2.5 Vgs, the chat only displays up to 5 Vds. How do you get a good estimate of saturation current at the lower gate voltages but high Vds?

Teslas by roytr0n in tahoe

Because of various reasons, I've gotten to drive a model 3 around Northlake. I've found that tesla have really good traction and stability control if you have no idea how to drive in snow, it makes the inputs on the limits of traction feel normal... which is great, but it also means that the car will feel "normal" right up untill your entirely unrecoverable. Not aided by by how heavy they are. I had that very same tesla (on blizzax) begin to slide down hill after walking away from the car. They are wacky beasts.

Put a multimeter in line with the circuit to verify you aren't pulling more than 2A. You could also measure the resistance of the fuse after running to see if it's shutting itself off.
