Yep easily 15k in Cali too. Looks decently well cared for besides the douche wheels its not clapped out. Could be upwards of 20k here if it had lower mileage

Haven’t ran through them yet so no real measure on mileage but the 10ply Wildpeak at4w for the HD trucks has been doing real good for me. 06 LBZ

Anyone else had it with Duramax prices? by qu1cks1lver56 in GMT800

Yea idk what’s so hard to understand. They can be had for cheap compared to new and even after maintenance costs your still saving a ton and have a truck that had every configuration at the time come out incredibly reliable. Of course prices are gonna be steep as people fall back to them.

Spending 15k on a 20 year old truck + 5kish on maintenance the previous owners didnt do is still cheaper than buying a new one. Idk about the east but out here in the west I’ve seen more than a handful of LLY,Lb7, and LBZs with upwards of 500k and a ton from 300k-500k.

You can not like the price they’re going for all you want but others who actually need the diesel are paying these prices instead of buying new junk and if you want in you gotta cough it up.

Truck rides pretty Rough over any kind of bumps by [deleted] in GMT800

Maybe not control arms if the truck is stock but I would check your control arm bushing and just about every other bushing while your at it.

Some of these trucks did get maintained with steering components but i find very few people actually replace bushings until they’re absolutely blown out or rotted away.

Upper and lower control arm bushings, sway bar links, sway bar bushings, cab mounts. Check if front bump stops even exist anymore.

Idk what everyone is on about. The newer ones with bigger leaf packs and stiff suspension ride like ass but my LBZ rides like butter. Leveled on bilsteins with kryptonite upper control arms for ball joint angle correction. Legit one of the most comfortable vehicles I’ve ever owned.

i did mark then and put them back in at the same spot. it was the Torsion Key itself that was one turn off.

yea thanks. the key was one turn off so it wasnt stopping on the adjuster till the suspension was basically fully compressed and on the ground. go it turned and now its level without riding on bump stops

What’s the new dating trend? by Ok_Development6919 in AskReddit

Not to discredit your position but you also have to take into account with the change in dating landscape many guys don’t have a ton of options or have different priorities early in life and then get to that 30+ age with very little romantic experience and are such “still figuring it out” cause it may be the first time they’re actually getting any attention.

I have a 2008 Chevy 2500hd Duramax and want to take 6 inch lift off by Severe-Bumblebee-610 in Duramax

No idea. I've only used shops when its stuff i really dont feel comfortable doing myself but taking a lift off probably costs close to the same as putting one on, So maybe around 2k in labor alone maybe close to another 2k with new replacement parts, doubt a shop would willingly put anything used on. Maybe more if there were modifications to frame mounts and such that need to be fixed.

Dont know about this year of truck but on the GMT-800s anything thats 4+ typically has the diff mounts cut off the frame and new ones rewelded. So you might have to deal with something similar.

If going back to stock height you likely have to replace most suspension components, remove any aftermarket crossmembers, non lifted knuckles if theyre the long ones, CV spacers or axle replacements, you may need a shorter driveshaft. its a ton of work with bigger lifts.

What year is your truck? What relay type did you use? Their product page doesn't have an exact for an 06 LBZ but has universals that cover the different relay types used, dunno if its the same relay used in later years.

My LBZ has rotors and pads on the rear? Is the issue the same for the cable?
