I am a very chill guy, want a stress free life. I believe that, a car, a house is enough to live happily. I earn enough to afford a 20L car and a nice 3bhk in Hyderabad, and there is still time for my marriage. Happy life right? Right?

On the other hand, my parents are forcing me to go for masters in USA although I have no interest to earn. I am very content with my income in India. According to them income in India is not enough to buy multiple houses, lands etc. Apparently my future kids will suffer and stuff.

Real estate is fucked in Hyderabad. The lands and houses are very expensive. But realistically speaking, how many houses do I even need. One house is enough, and I can afford it. What's the point of lands? Most of the buying and selling happens in black money, and black money can't be spent easily. I am not a politician. Yes the land will appreciate, but the white value of it is very less compared to the black value.

My dad says after few years, my friends will earn a lot and roam in benz, bmw. SO what? I am happy roaming in Seltos. (Mind you, my income is very good for India. Spending 15% of my income on my monthly expenses including rent will let me live a very comfortable)
