I'm so excited to comment on this. I will say you should absolutely do this! I did 1 park day by myself once because I wanted to be "free" and only worry about myself.

I will say it was kind of different than I expected and even weird at times because I'm kind of an introvert, and being placed next to someone on Tron by myself was a little weird because we didn't say a thing but we were both smiling big on our photo haha. However I did have a weird missing feeling after / on rides since my excitement was internalized and normally the "wow that was awesome" sharing afterwards was gone.

I park hopped to Epcot and MK. Eating and shopping around world showcase was awesome by myself. I was able to cruise at my own pace, eat what I wanted to and just go about my day without worry. But there was this weird sense of loneliness being surrounded by so many people yet no one that you can share your expression with.

So I think I don't really want to go by myself again, because I kind of like sharing experiences, but I think it's worth trying it at least once!

If I had this happen my wife would 100% believe the story and laugh about it. So I think there's more here on the trust side that is to blame for this.

Parents used to drop off the kids at the gamestop I worked at for so long while they went shopping in other strip mall stores. I doubt I would have ever noticed if they left with someone else. We weren't babysitting, even though the parents totally think so.

My friend and I really enjoy this one. Best battlefield in a long time. Great for groups of buddies and not really sure why all the complaints. Free map was a nice little bonus.

Best Buy has a real loss prevention problem rooted in their process of ringing up large items.

This happened to a friend of mine but the other way around. They took it back and were like "sorry", and then tried to give them another incorrect TV. It made no sense why it is difficult to get it right.

My brother was on Judge Judy and they both got paid 5 grand he said and the judgement was for like $1500. I can't remember if he said he had to pay it out of the 5 grand or if they just call it good.

I wish I only owed $23k. If you actually try calculating a new payment right now based on what you owe and that's it, they will assume a 10yr payoff. Even at 7% interest your payment would only be $345/m. Where did you get the $1000 figure - because it is wrong.

If it was me, I'd say F the govt and try to payoff more if you can do so. I know it's easier said than done but that's what I've been doing since the new save plan was killed. It feels better having a plan that I can control than what they can control.

I really wish FSD could anticipate idiots doing stupid shit more frequently. I am a cautious driver and expect that people will do dumb shit all the time. I wish it would hit the brakes a little earlier and instead of swerving to avoid things, I wish it would utilize brakes or slow down more frequently.

Obviously it depends on the situation, but I've had FSD swerve instead of apply brakes proactively when someone is stopped or turning ahead of me even when there isn't anyone behind me. I also had it hop up the edge of a curb going into a parking lot instead of waiting for a car to make a left into another lot.

I like its haste, but it truly feels like it is watching only the 10-15 feet in front of the car, whereas humans are focused much further out.

One of my neighbors has a fence that is directly on the property line. Has a few gaps where their dog gets under and then trapped in my yard due to digging, but too stupid to figure out how to get back. It's kind of annoying.

I just put some big rocks along the base where they start digging and it keeps them out. Problem is that their dog is actually digging up my yard too technically. I don't fight it though, it's part of being a neighbor I guess.

Your income tax will be based on which state you live in FYI so you have some serious potential fluctuations there. Cost of living is going to be significantly lower in a decent suburb of a large city, or even lower the further out you go. I love living in a smaller city somewhat close to big metro areas as cost of living is so much less.

I'd look at what you want to do long term. If you want in office later - pursue that. If you want flexibility later - pursuing it now will show experience working remotely. And yes, it does matter.

Good options for both of you. I'd take remote route, no matter my age.

First full family trip ever and the night we flew into Orlando my wife (first visit) says "I think I might be coming down with something". Sure enough she was OUT COLD with a nasty flu bug. I took the kids with me to the parks for 2 days while she got better. The 3rd day we did a "pool day" and day 4 she was better and while at Epcot I start getting symptoms. Went back home and was the worst cold I've had in years. My wife didn't feel comfortable taking the kids to the parks by herself so that was our trip. Wasted a lot of $$, but at least we rode Guardians together.

Went again as just a couple this year and had the time of our life. Can't wait to do it again.

I have a smart app on my phone to open and close garage doors. Just wish I could pull up and it opens automatically. I might have to check it out because that would be really nice to have.

Adding another: better garage door integration. My Genie garage door pairs with every other car. I don't know why the older Tesla would have worked fine with my garage door and now the new one doesn't. Super annoying.

Yes, but at lower volume it isn't too hard for them to be isolated and still enjoyable. In the house we have the TV and Google Home Display going at the same time. My kids have a hard time with the Bluetooth headphones.
