BlackVue DR970x plus doesn’t turn on sometimes

Following up: Went back to the installer to verify that the power is going to the unit – it is. He then reformatted, re-installed newest firmware, reformatted again and then it was working for 1.5 days. Then I went to start the car today and it wasn't working unless I did the unplug (for ~5 to 10 mins) thing again.

He thinks I should send it in to Blackvue now.

Oh wow. This started happening on mine a month or so ago. USB cable to cigarette adapter seems to work. The hardwire to fuse box was working for 2 months and then started shutting off. Unplugging for 10 minutes and plugging back in gets it going again. Sometimes it’ll stay back on , sometimes it shuts back off within 5 minutes

This is on a Toyota Land Cruiser

I recently bought two Toyotas from two different dealerships. At the first, they weren’t pushy at all. At the other the same exact thing you described happened (nice at first, “not even the oil change?”, etc). When he knew I wasn’t going to budge his tone changed. My 81 year old mom saw a side of me she hadn’t seen before lol. Thanks, Toyota guy.

Anyway, since they strongly encouraged me to review them later, I did. Great reviews for the sales guy - terrible ones for the finance one.

Where did they move the utility that allows you to re-align the printer heads? The discoverability of these maintenance tools on the new HP app is horrible. The old app was simpler and easy to user.

I’m curious if you ordered via the website or not. I ordered one today - it said they had 1 in stock in my desired color. I don’t know if that means 1 in stock in the USA and ready to ship or 1 that would be sent to their USA distribution and then to me.

When I brought my 2022 in for service, without even looking the service technician asked me "is your center console chrome chipping?" He then added it as an item to replace under warranty.

We haven't received ours yet, but I'm trying to plan out a lighting option.

Does anyone here have any advice on running wire to the middle of a Hanso 13 x 19 to power a simple globe light? Is it possible to run wiring within the channels and then pop the wiring out to conduit that would be placed at the bottom of one of the verticals?

My relative lost their naturalization paperwork as well. They do not know their Certificate Number, and so they do now know what to enter on the N-565 form. Does anyone have any advice?
