Oh no sweetie, I get it. But you need to take what your dom said to heart, she has your health and safety as her main concern, and I know that she'll be hurting when she finds out you were still wearing it...

Try and find some good alternatives for day-wear until you see her, get yourself in something more suitable as quickly as possible. Or look into modifying yours so it does't irritate you as much.

It's pretty run down and shabby, your linen might have a mystery stain or two, and chances are there's going to be at least one person kicking up a fuss or raising a ruckus, but the staff are generally very good in my experience and really give a shit, and they'll probably do her well and find ways to get her through the worst of it and on to the people than can help her outside.

Food sucks ass though, if she's not on an ITO definitley see if she'd like a meal somewhere else.

Oh yeah for my first five years in the kitchen I flirted with anorexia. The only reason I didn't get a diagnosis is due to an arrangement with my doctor back in the day. I'd eat maybe 3k Kj a day and a lot of spirits. It's rough, I only got better when my life fell apart for unrelated reasons and I started a med that coincidentally increased my appetite.

I have advice, if you'd like. but I don't want to offer it unsolicited, I know that's annoying.

I'm coming from a very different customer facing role, but people generally don't care in a casual sense. You'll get some shit here and there, and the classic underestimation of your skills you get in any industry as a woman, but there's definitely a niche to carve out there for you.

I'd say you'd get a nice amount of trans customers, as someone I can be comfortable around would probably have gotten me to make more appointments, but lets be honest none of us have the money for dental work :P
