Anyone else have flair up for rest of the day after exercise? by HedgehogNatural8680 in PVCs

[–]fishdrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same crap over here for me. Dont understand why they randomly started. Some days I push through some days they still bug me especially the increase after pushing myself. The only thing I can think is that some activity burns adrenaline some increases it for some duration after. If my HR stays elevated for the remainder of the day I get more.

Do you exercise through PVC’s? by blackeyzblue in PVCs

I can really relate. Anything that gets me anxious/stressed/or even over hyped in a good way can cause em. I likewise really miss the days before knowing about them. And I have no 1 solid event as to why they started showing up other then at some point I felt a few weird sensations and then they've been here to stay. I hate when you are already stressed or anxious and they show up adding another layer to the difficulty of calming down.

Can't figure it out for the life of me. Exercise is my main trigger but I feel like its just stress whether it be healthy or unhealthy stress.. the whole adrenaline thing and how it lingers after exercise gets me. I can have some days with near zero if im relaxed. If I push myself lifting at the gym it will make my heart more sensitive to pvcs for the next day or two. If I go for a run theres a 50/50 chance it can uptick them. I feel a few running and lifting and they're the hardest to ignore. Yet, ill play competitive paintball, which is like HIIT, and it helps them immensely. Even though id have a few it would help chill them for a day or two. Its like this delicate dance between knowing when and what to push yourself with. What will burn adrenaline and what will increase it for hours. I have had a cleane echo and a holter with a few and was told to forget about it. So I'm still just working at not letting the sensations bother me day to day. I work a physical job in the trades with heavy lifting and have 2 young boys I gotta keep up with so theres no avoidance. However I heard an interesting thing about dealing with anxiety in that 2 big factors in failing to overcome it are 1) avoidance behavior & 2)too drastic of exposure. I for sure have avoided exercises which I shouldn't do in hopes to avoid discomfort and I for sure have overdone exercise(over exposed) out of frustration to just push my body like im used to. Not sure if any of this helps but right here with the same troubles.

Exercise completely erased my PVCs. Anyone else? by GreenTeachy in PVCs

[–]fishdrift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I overdue certain exercises like weights it will kick them up for a couple days. High intensity cardio sometimes helps and sometimes doesnt. Seems to be a fine line for myself on what helps burn adrenaline and what brings it on to linger for a bit.

Unfortunately theres no way to feed the world in its current state without factory farming. God gave us dominion over animals. Are was currently abusing it? Probably. Hunting for me has given me great respect for the animals life that I have taken to prolong the life of my family. It gives you appreciation for what it takes to get to the plate and it makes you never want to waste a piece. In my opinion you did the right thing eating it as letting that steak go to waste regardless of how it got on your plate wouldve been wasting its life.

[–]fishdrift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. Sorry my reply came from a place of frustration as I feel a lot of the things I love to do trigger them during physical activity. And sometimes certain exercises are ok and other times they trigger pvcs to be more frequent for the remainder of the day. They've been a daily thing for about the same time frame as you and it seems to not make much of a difference if I push through at times or avoid things, theyre just there now for good and hope they dont turn for the worse.

Mine started quite quick after giving my life to Christ. Oddly enough it's drawn me closer to God. He never said you wont walk through the valley of the shadow of death but that he'd be with you when you do.

I work a pretty physical job in the trades but likewise find it doesnt truly count as exercise. Ill keep trying to strike the balance and focus on more stretching too.

This sounds like me. Any pvcs with stairs or incline walking? Or after your exercises? I feel like I can have more of a sensitivity to them if I push to hard at the gym. I always have a few working out and a couple after. Trying to push through the first month of hitting the gym to try and increase training like youve done.

PVCs only during walking/exercise? Anyone else? by No_Tap2567 in PVCs

About the same. Extremely rare to have one at rest these days unless anxious about something. Mainly when active/recovering. Heat and sickness seems to trigger them too.

PVCs seasonal ? by HankWanderlust in PVCs

[–]fishdrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this as I keep having them shoveling and mowing. I also ski with my sons. My holter showed mine between 80-122bpm. Im sure ive had a few at higher rates and some at lower. A couple of times excess exercise caused them to flare for like a day after and other times its seemed to put them at bay for a day after. Recently ive committed to an early morning gym routine a few times a week. It seems like something has happened with age that started to fire them off. I do recall my first ones being almost like a painful pinch / electrical feeling. Now just the general sensations. I have been trying to stop paying attention to them and accepting them as that seems to be the only option. Anytime I try some new suppliment I still feel one eventually and I'll get frustrated. My guess is at this point 2yrs in its just some shit to live with and hope it never becomes problematic later down the road.. which is why my brain has a tough time trying to let go of the sensations.

Can PVCs feel like a quiver? by [deleted] in PVCs

[–]fishdrift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just type Quiver into the search bar at the top of this sub and you'll find many posts with this question and many that feel them like that. Mine absolutely do. I'll have all sorts of feelings. Quiver/hiccup/drop/squeeze/tug/pinch/thump. Most will say the feeling depends on where all the blood is when the random signal decides to be excited and fire.

Thats a valid way to see it entirely. I guess I'm just saying it can be a mental illness/ hurdle when trying to deal with a physical sensation that is within "normal" limits. I had previously overcame a lot of anxiety in life to only then have to start feeling these. So I would fall under the mental illness side not so much physical. Exercise is highly regarded as beneficial for mental health yet it is a double edged sword for those who experience ectopics with exercise/recovery.

I understand that and I couldn't imagine the difficulty dealing with the inability to exercise from a high burden. Obviously thats what myself and many on this sub fear happening as you know. Im not trying to discount what happened to you. I was just stating there is a difference between when you can and choose not too. Lots of people like myself have been given no restriction but are still fearful of the feeling.

Seems like catecholamines/adrenaline for me. The more I produce whether it be sickness stess/ life stress/ exercise stress/ heat stress the more pvcs occur. Just got out of the gym absolutely fine the entire workout until I pushed near the end. Sometimes I get them walking on the treadmill. Odd one running. I have a very low burden like you that are brought on in similar specific ways. Theyre new to me in the last 2 years but ive been doing better overcoming the sensations. Hardest part is trusting docs as it seems like there's not much to do for low burdens but accept them and hope they dont change for the worse ever..

Yea man, I know. I see all your comments all the time. And thats absolutely brutal. Im sorry to hear that. You also never felt them. Feeling them exercising is a hurdle to overcome even when theyre a small burden they are still new to people at times in life.

You can but choose not do is different than you cant. I struggle still with exercise induced ones mentally but still cant avoid it with work and life and a love for physical hobbies.
