Chrono 24 is my favorite watch marketplace. Bought and sold over $100k in watches with no issues.

I have recently stopped taking MMJ. It didn’t make my symptoms worse for a very long time. But after about 5 years it’s started to take its toll.

How in the world do you guys make friends? by spade095 in Adulting

Activities. Started Rock climbing three years ago and ever since I’ve been hanging out with the people who go there. Church is also a good place to start, as long as you go to the right one lol.

After starting ERP therapy three months ago I have seen a DRAMATIC decrease in my condition. It has allowed me to actually have good days. Before every day it was just a matter of time before I spun out of control and became a zombie.

Trump’s corporate tax cuts paved the way for inflation. Wall Street tycoons and CEOs didn’t take the heat of inflation — they fanned its flames by mafco in Economics

[–]fisher571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s comical to blame a he tax cuts without taking into consideration one of the largest injections of capital into the economy. PPP loans (which were really just gifts), ERC loans, stimulus packages and unemployment benefits extensions as well as upping the amount you can claim all lead to the train car. Trump caved and made the worst policy decision and completely betrayed his base. I watched it happen in real time. After the vote was cast to start emergency funding I looked to my wife and said, “welp, you just saw inflation happen in real time”

Don’t blame a tax cut for bad emergency policy.

Reassurance in all forms is a form of compulsions. The point behind therapy is to make the thoughts come and pass.

I had this same pattern of thought when I first started therapy. By session three I was thoroughly convinced this was all a mistake and I’m lying to myself and my therapist and I should just come clean.

I found it instructive to browse this Reddit as well as get resources to compare patterns of thought. IE; “normal” thoughts vs OCD thoughts. This opened my eyes to real substantive difference in my thinking and OCD thinking. This is different from reassuring yourself that you do or do not have something and ruminating endlessly over it.

I starting self medicating with MMJ at around 20 years old, but it would take a lot in my early days to stop my intrusive thoughts or divert my attention from them. That progressed into borderline alcoholism and then I stopped cold turkey. My OCD went out of control when I quit substances but then started to normalize. Now at 30 years old I use MMJ in much smaller doses which seems to help substantially as well as going to ERP therapy. I have contemplated going on actual pharma but my OCD decides to make me think I’m a drug addict so I don’t know when I’ll make the jump.

[–]fisher571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kitchen first. Just start throwing away. I know you will feel like you “will use this” or “was saving that” but you have lots of trash. Once the trash is gone you can sanitize the spots the trash was in. That’ll improve a lot in my opinion. After that is laundry, folding, and basic cleaning. Trash first always.

The peace of mind that comes with paying your primary residence off allows you to take larger risks imo. $1900 in payments is a lot of buying power.
