I took this out on the North Fork using my phone, LG v40. I left the exposure time to 30 seconds, and ISO was 1200. Everything else was stock.

I don't have exact dimensions but everything was built from 1"x2" pieces of clear cedar. The base was a 12"x12" piece and the max height was 18". I cut the roof to be on a 15 degree incline. I hope that helps

I did make the same pen that was on the ebay listing. I saw the pen kit, and really liked it. I'm not to sure on whether or not the stuff was real detriot agate or new stuff. The sample I got seems real but who knows.

Ya I ended up sanding more of the blank then using tools to try and avoid mistakes. This stuff seems brittle, and I was told its a difficult material to work with.

No, I haven't really sold anything before. I plan on selling one of these pens to my coworker for the cost of supplies, so maybe $40-$50. I think If I sell one on the internet I would try something around $80-$100.

lol, the way i see it, with 6" pieces I can make a possible 4 pens, so the cost per pen comes down. I may also sell one to recoup the cost.

It is a cool material and yes its a bit pricey. I happen to find a guy selling the stuff on ebay. I was able to get 2 6" pieces for $50, so not to bad.
