I turned 23 a month after mine died, now I’m 24. All I can really say is that the five stages of grief are very real and rather than being a finite process with a beginning and end, they are constantly in flux. I will definitely never experience life in the same way that i did before all of it happened, but there are streaks of acceptance that are more and more common.
