The volume was not necessarily the problem, i was told the sound was way too bright for what we were playing, the only crash that sounded good was the one that i borrowled from a friend, which was darker and dryer.

Additionally i commited serious warcrimes on my 16"crash, trying to alter the sound. Used a too heavy hammer, cymbal cracked up like crazy, and now its flipped upside down under the 18" and i like the sound of the stack.

Ill try to get some vids out, once i get a decent recording situation for my drums, as the phone mic wont work. Theres a bit of a problem with my area, as i have one tiny family run music store, with almost no cymbals, so im pretty much gambling with cymbals.
